5:59pm

Louis was practically seething, knowing that Mark had come back to the house when he wasn't around to protect his family. He knew that going to the movie would be a mistake. His mother and sisters haven't noticed Louis' presense, but from what Louis could tell, none of them were hurt in anyway, just a bit shook up.

The Doncaster boy was thankful that no one was injured, but he still had anger coursing through his body. He knew that if he went to talk to anyone, he might explode, break down, or both. So he decided to talk a quick walk, to calm himself down.

He felt bad about leaving his family when they needed them, but he knew that they were in good hands with the police officers. Louis turned around and walked briskly away. He continued walking around the neighbourhood, not really paying much attention to where he was going.

The past few days for Louis have been extremely tough on him. He was so used to going through life, working himself hard to provide enough for his family, but in the course of a few days, he was tortured by his step-father, being forced to interact with his crush, and gotten in a few fights with his best friend.

Louis was grateful that he had the right sense of mind to leave instead of staying at the scene where his family was. He didn't want to lash out, just because his own life was complete crap at the moment. He wouldn't want to become another version of Mark in their eyes.

The boy sighed, as he turned a corner into an alleyway. When he realized where he had stumbled into, he went to turn around, but a certain figure caught his eye. He was leaning against the brick wall, a beer bottle in his hand.

Mark stood there, his eyes dark and cold, but his lips turned up into a sinister smirk.

"What the hell is wrong with you," Louis hissed, pushing the slightly-drunk man onto the floor.

"Get your hands off me, you fag," Mark replied, standing back up.

"Don't tell me what to do," Louis said, grabbing Mark by the collar of his shirt and slamming him into the wall.

Louis was nowhere near as strong as Mark was, but at the moment, adrenaline was pumping through his veins. The older man was taken aback by Louis' hostility, but said nothing.

"You are a worthless excuse for a father. You abused us, tortured us, and when I finally get the courage and strength to kick you out of our house, you just come back and smash the windows. You can't even take being kicked out like a man, you just have to keep ruining our lives. Why would you even do such a thing?" Louis screamed.

"You needed to be punished," Mark sneered, pushing Louis off of him.

"Punished? For finally getting rid of the trash? Oh sorry, I meant you," Louis replied sarcastically.

Mark lunged for Louis, dropping the bottle on the ground. The bottle smashed into pieces but neither of the boys payed any attention to it. The two were on the ground wrestling, throwing punches and kicks at one another. Louis felt more and more weak with each blow, but continued to fight.

Louis wasn't just fighting to get rid of Mark anymore. He was fighting for who he was. He was fighting for his family. He was fighting for his life. For Harry.

Louis grabbed Mark by the hair, causing the older man to let out a groan of pain. Louis took this opportunity to grab the man's hands and pin them to the ground. Louis straddled the man to keep him from fighting back.
