"Oh god, oh god, oh god," Louis muttered to himself as he paced back and forth, making sweater paws with the jean jacket he was wearing.

Today was the day that Louis would be taking to bakery boy for the first time, and he couldn't be any more nervous than he was at the moment. Last night, he had a hard time falling asleep, and he could barely stomach anything for breakfast.

"Louis, calm down, everything will be fine," Liam said, trying to reassure his friend.

"But, what if something goes wrong? Like I could throw up on him, he could ignore me, I could trip and fall, he could be straight, he could have a girlfriend or boyfriend, someone could spill-"

"Shut up." Liam held his hand out, signalling for Louis to stop talking. Liam wanted to help his friend, but he was getting very annoyed with his rambling. Louis stopped talking instantly, but he was still pacing around the store, shaking slightly.

The store was empty at the moment, and Carl was out running some errands, leaving the two boys to talk, although Louis wished that there was actually work to be done, to provide as a distraction. He hated that all he could think about was talking to bakery boy, causing his stomach to erupt with nervous butterflies.

"Lou, you still have an hour before our shift is over, use this time to calm down." Liam grabbed Louis' shoulders, stopping him from walking around. He looked into his fearful blue eyes, before giving him a quick hug.

"You'll be fine."

With that, Liam walked into the backroom, leaving Louis to his thoughts. He couldn't process the fact that he was actually going to swallow up his nerves and talk to the handsome lad who worked across the mall from him.

Louis looked at the clock, seeing the second hand moving slowly. Only 59 minutes to go until it was time for the Doncaster boy to talk to his crush. Louis sighed, knowing that time would only be cruel to him, and make the next hour as agonizingly slow as possible.

"Lou, our shift is over, let's go," Liam hollered from the other side of the store, before walking up to Louis.

"Oh god, oh god, oh god," Louis whispered quietly, his whole body trembling in fear. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to go terribly wrong.

"It's going to be alright. Breathe." Liam tried desperately to calm down his almost hyperventilating friend, but was failing miserably.

Knowing that Louis wouldn't move on his own, Liam put a hand on Louis' back, and gently guided him out of the store. Carl had given Liam the keys to lock up for the day, so Liam quickly locked the door before he grabbed Louis by the forearm and dragged him to the bakery that the lad that Louis fancied worked at.

"Liam, fucking let go of me," Louis cried out. He tugged as hard as he possibly could, but his small figure was no match for Liam's biceps. Liam only hummed, not letting go, knowing that the second he did, Louis would make a run for it.

"Liam, please. Let go, I can't do this." Liam just ignored Louis' desperate pleads as he pushed open the door to Baker's Dozen.

Liam pulled Louis in behind him, and pushed him forward, causing Louis to stumble a bit. The two boys looked around the bakery, not seeing any curls anywhere. Louis felt disappointed, but also relieved, as he hoped that Liam wouldn't force him to go through another day of anxiety.
