The love;

The love of the world.

The love of ones heart.

The love that keeps us from tearing each other apart.

It matters not what we've seen,

but what we have been through.

It matters what we have come to appreciate,

And what we have learned to respect.

All glory comes from deep within.

And is summoned from what rest true.

No matter the label that you've given yourself, or maybe even others.

None of that matters,

it is all what is the opposite of  a lie,

and not what we want to  deny.

Even inside of you, its not a perfect world,

its a mess.

One  that can only become clean with the help of others,

but no matter the harshness of the world,

I have come to thank the crudeness of the society.

to teach the  love upon  hate of the streets,

and to find my way in the gaping hallways.

To  hold my chin up when others look down at the sorrowful ground.

I've come to love the warmth of the ones who are kindhearted.

And to walk away from the childish plea's for attention.

though the world may be cruel,

It has beaten me into shape.

I will survive on this  gruesome earth.

Keeping my guard up its true,

but it was but the world that taught me to build them.

To only trust the ones who have earned it,

and to reach a hand out once.

My worth is higher among the living,

but my worth remains the same in my soul.
