~Chapter 1~

•Eunice•
A few days ago...our school had been attacked by a gigantic snake called "Gorkan". From what my friends have told me...it's a messenger snake sent by a god. But the gods of Olympus send down Hermes while the only god that sends a Gorkan... is Hades....

After we had slayed the Gorkan, Kirk had found a rolled up piece of paper in one of the fangs of the snake. I grunted as I saw slime all over my dress and wings. I flapped my wings getting rid of the slime on me. paisley screamed as he saw the snake move making her shock it's whole body. We screamed as Kirk jumped out of the Gorkan's mouth and landed on the ground.
"Paisley! It's dead calm down!" I said making her pant.
"I was making sure!" She screamed making Kirk stand up and dust his suit off. He then unrolled the piece of paper he found in one of the snakes fangs. Everyone gathered around him.
"What does it say?" Jewel asked as he looked at all of us.
"It's from Hades." He said as I took a look at the paper.
"You will pay for murdering my son! Now you will face the wrath of Hades!" It said making everyone gasp.
"Hades?! Again?!" Katherin said making me look at everyone. Then someone laughed in the crowd. I took a look around, a boy stepped forward with dark brown hair in a quiff. He had red eyes and a smirk that could literally make girls hover over him. I can tell because once he smirked, red mist flew out. Obviously didn't work on me. I crossed my eyebrows.
"Do you really think this is another one of Hades plans...I mean really?" The boy said as he walked over to us. I whispered to Katherin.
"Who is that?" I whispered as she rolled her eyes.
"That's Duke" she said rolling her eyes. Duke walked over to The Gorkan. He looked at us and snapped his fingers. The Gorkan's skin changed. It was, paper mashe? Everyone in the gym gasped.
"This Gorkan is a fake. Obviously made but by who?" Duke smirked as he looked at us. Everyone all looked at each other.
"And taking a look at this, this looks familiar on a certain project one you kids made a few months back before Eunice came here" Duke said as he looked at me. I took a look at my friends.
"What?! No! We wouldn't fake this kind of attack!" Kirk yelled as I looked at Duke.
"Oh really, we'll take a look at this" he said as he held his hands forward. An image or better yet a clip. It showed, Kirk, Paisley and Will working on a huge project in the Brewery Room in this school. I crossed my eyebrows as the motion picture played above his hands.
"As you can see, Kirk, Will and Paisley were working on a huge paper Mashe project and by the look of the entire thing, it's the Gorkan snake you see right here before your eyes" he said as everyone gasped around us in the gym. Then murmurs filled the gym.
"How do we know this all isn't a fake and you're just trying to frame these heroes?" One kid yelled in the crowd making Duke chuckle then then looked at Kirk beside me.
"Because I too was once framed" Duke snapped as he glared at Kirk, everyone gasped.
"And also, I know that they're the ones who did this because, I was there when they were making it." Duke said as I heard Kirk gasp beside me.

•Kirk•
"You son of a bitch!-" I yelled as Will and Eunice held me back. Duke chuckled.
"And there goes the shame" he whispered as I glared at him. The crowd booed.
"Fakers! Trying to scare us!" One yelled in the crowd making me look around. Everyone was heckling.
"You're no heroes!" They all yelled making the gang bunch up.
"John get us out of here" Eunice said as John raised his hands in the air forming black smoke surround us and we disappeared to John's House.

•Eunice•
Once the smoke cleared Kirk stomped out and gripped his hair.
"What is going on? Why does he think we faked it?" I asked as everyone gather towards Kirk. Paisley looked at me. They had the look of shame or worry on their faces.
"What is going on?" I asked again making Paisley and Katherin walk over to me.
"Way before you came, all of us didn't really get along." Paisley started off as she told her story of when they all used to be friends until they gone their separate ways.

"We used to hang out every day, me Kirk, Will, Rencie, Jayden, Jewel, Kylah, Muslim, Praise, Katherin and...Duke. We were so close, all until I was betrayed. Katherin told me that Muslim spread the rumour that I was cheating on my boyfriend Lucas. So it caused me to fight Muslim until Kirk and Will pulled us apart. Kirk and Will defended Muslim that he wasn't the one who said that. And I then got the new that Praise however told Kirk that Rencie was the one who told Muslim that I was cheating on him. So that made me fight Rencie but Jayden and Will pulled us apart.

Many rumours were told to each of us so it got us to fight during that time. So we split apart. The only name I didn't hear was...Duke. And a few weeks before you came, Duke came up to me Kylah and Jewel telling us that Kirk was planning on Trashing Kylah's house. So later that night, we stayed up watching the streets for Kirk and the guys. We saw them walking by which made me growl and blast lightning at them. They looked at us and began to fight with us. Kirk and Will used their powers on us which made us fight back. All until I yelled out. "Why are you gonna burn Kylahs house down?!" And Kirk stopped looking at us.
"What do you mean?! We heard you girls were gonna burn Will's house down!" Kirk yelled as I crossed my eyebrows. I told them that Duke told us they were gonna burn Kylah's house and they told us the same thing. We looked at Duke. Duke laughed. But Instead of fighting Duke I gave the look to Kirk making him nod. We continued to fight the day after with duke watching and enjoying himself. I started to investigate. I asked a bunch of questions to everyone going back to when we all began to fight. I asked Katherin where he got the rumour from. She said it was from Duke. Same thing with Praise, she got the rumour from Duke, we've been fooled with. So later that night we planned something to trick Duke back. We planned on Fighting in the field of our school, until death. I told Duke the news making him smile.

When we made it to the field, us girls and the guys spilt up on either side of the field with Duke watching on the bleachers. I looked at Kirk seeing him nod. We met up in the middle and right before we began the fight, Kirk blasted his blue beam right passed me, hitting Duke right on he bleachers. He screamed making us all turn to him. We all laughed as He growled and turned into something we didn't know he could turn into. He turned into a horse with mermaid tail. He was flying in the air with his red eyes. It's horn on his forehead glowed at the very tip which caused red light to blast out. At first he looked harmless until sharp scales began to cover his entire appearance. He roared. So, we all worked together to bring him down and the fight ended leaving Duke with a scar over his Left eye. Once he turned back to human we told us we were rue the day. I told him it was pay back for splitting all of us apart. He then disappeared that night. Of course, we all still didn't get a long so we all still went our separate ways. And then weeks later you came to bring us together once again. Which made us completely forget about Duke"

Paisley said making me look at all of them.
"So, Duke was the one who split all of you guys up? Why?" I asked making them shrug.
"We didn't stick around to figure that out. Every time we see him in the halls, he just disappears." Kirk said making me cross my eyebrows.
"Did you guys make that Gorkan?" I asked making them shake their heads.
"We wouldn't make a fake Gorkan, if we did it wouldn't look that real or actually move like that, like it did in the halls" Paisley said making me think.
"Then this must be when the 'Ruing' begins. To me it sounds like he's trying to make you guys look like fakers, non heroes" I said making them nod.
"But how can we stop him this time? I bet he's gonna do way better into tricking all of us again." Katherin said making me think.
"You guys told me that he turned into a Horse with a mermaids tail, like a sea-horse?" I asked making them nod. I thought back.
"I think I've heard that before. John take us all to my house" I said as he nodded making us all gather in a circle again.
