~Chapter 4~

•Eunice•
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Jewel's and Kylah's head laying on the ground. My eyes filled with tears and soon streamed down my face. I started to walk backwards until I bumped into someone. I gasped and turned around. It was Will. I covered my mouth and began to cry even more.

•Will•
Once John had taken us to Eunice's garden, Eunice had bumped into me. I looked at her seeing her turn to me and cover her mouth. She was crying. Her eyes were no longer a light hazel brown like they usually were, they turned into a really dark blue colour. She then shut her eyes and cried even more. I stood there silent, not knowing what to do, until she wrapped her arms around my shoulder. I gasped a bit, shocked that she hugged me. I could hear her crying on my shoulders.
"They're gone" she cried making me slowly hug her back. Is this what's it's like to hug someone? I then saw Kirk walk ahead towards the two heads on the ground. He raised both his hands that glowed blue seeing the two heads start to cover with blue mist and he lifted up the heads without touching it. Eunice pulled away from me and and covered her mouth again. She looked down making me sigh. I would never want to see anyone look like this again. It's worse just watching them cry. I slowly took my mask off and let it hover in one hand. Dark purple mist had surrounded the mask and my hand. I then slowly curled my hands into a fist and my mask had disappeared. I looked at Eunice seeing her still with her head down crying. I pulled her hand away from her mouth seeing her look up at me. I wiped the tears from her cheeks. Once I wiped her tears off, her cheeks started to warm up. Is she blushing?

•Eunice•
Will wiped my tears from my cheeks making me zone out. What is going on? I looked at Will seeing that he had his mask off. I had noticed a scar over his left eye, the last time, his eyes used to be white because of those white shards Fairies. But now, they're a purple kind of colour, just like the colour of his powers. I shook my head and stepped back and stuttered.
"Um, Thanks" was all I could say making me turn to the girls and looked up at the hovering Heads Kirk was lifting with his powers.
"We know who killed them" John blurted out making me look at him standing next to Will. Both his hands were curled into fists and fire had covered both of them. John was looking down in anger.
"Who?" I asked making him look at me with his eyes a bright orange.
"Hades sent an assassin" he growled making my eyes widened.
"What?" I asked making Kirk wave his finger and curl his hands into a sphere in front of him seeing the heads surround with much more blue mist and soon disappeared and changed into two blue butterflies. Kirk then let his hands down and let the butterflies fly away. Kirk looked at me.
"We all have to stay together, we can't go anywhere alone, with that assassin roaming around We're not letting anyone out of this house" Kirk said making me look at him.
"What? Shouldn't we be going out there to stop that guy? I don't want to stay isolated in my house waiting to be killed. I'd rather go hunt him down" I said making Kirk groan.
"We can't risk anyone dying anymore today!" Kirk yelled making me stay quiet. He kept his simple glare at me to keep me quiet. I crossed my eyebrows a bit pissed but I then stormed back into my house.

•Kirk•
Eunice stomped back into her house seeing the Girls look at me.
"We can protect ourselves Kirk, and I don't know if you still remember. Eunice isn't human anymore." Paisley said making me stay quiet and looked away. Paisley, Katherin and Praise followed Eunice back into the house. I sighed.
"James, Muslim, Rencie and Jayden. You guys stay here and keep an eye out. Make sure the girls don't leave this house" I said making them nod. They then followed the girls back inside and closed the door. I looked at John and Will.
"What are we gonna do. We don't even know where this guy is" Will said until John spoke.
"The guys had a dragon and snake tattoo on his forearm." He said making me look at him.
"Do you know how he looks like?" Will asked making John let lose and calm down. The flames on his hands had slowly disappeared and his eyes had changed back to normal.
"No. But I feel like there's someone in school who has a tattoo like that" he answered making me cross my eyebrows wondering who.
"Who would have a tattoo like that?" Will asked making me look at him.
"We're about to find that out tomorrow" he said as I looked at the settings in behind me over the wooden fence. I saw Jewel and Kylah in their butterfly form flying towards the sun.

The next morning...

•Eunice•
I was up all night, I couldn't sleep. All the girls managed to sleep but I didn't. I was just sitting still on my bed waiting till my alarm went off. I was just stuck in my thoughts, anger and frustration filled my head. I could feel my hand start to freeze seeing my hand was now made of ice. I growled quietly and curled my hand into a fist seeing the ice break on my hand. Then all of the sudden, I felt someone shock my arm making meme turn to paisley's bed. She was laying on her stomach, with her chin resting on the pillow in front of her and she faced me.
"Did you get any sleep?" She asked with a yawn following right after. I looked down and cracked my knuckles staying quiet. She groan quietly and laid her face down on her pillow.
"I get it Eunice. You're mad." She mumbled on the pillow making me look at her. She pulled herself up to sit on her bed.
"Damn right I am. The guys still think I can't protect myself" I said making her sigh. She gave me the disappointed look.
"They're shadows knights, what did you expect?" She stated making me stay quiet and look down again. "The guys do know we can protect ourselves, it's just they don't want anyone of us to get hurt, remember what happened to Chuck? Jewel? Kylah?" She said making me think back. I almost forgot Chuck had died. I still feel like he's still here but, he's gone. As well as Kylah and Jewel, I expected them waking me up this morning but no. I replied to paisley but staying quiet. I didn't know what else to say. Paisley then stood up and shocked Katherin and Praises bed for a second and woke them up. They screamed and sat up.
"Come on, lets go eat breakfast." Paisley said as she walked out of the room.
"Jesus, did she have to shock us? The alarm literally would have gone off in a few minutes-" Katherin groaned as the alarm went off making them scream and run out of the room. I chuckled a bit and shut the alarm off beside me. I then stood up and walked out the room. Once I reached the bottom of the stairs, I felt something, like something was about to hit me. I quickly pulled my large wings out and covered myself with it. I felt water hit my wings then I pulled my wings back into my back and looked up. There was a small white cloud above me. I looked down the hallway seeing Kirk had one hand up towards the cloud.
"Morning" he said with a wide grin on his face. I rolled my eyes and blasted ice to his feet. His eyes widened. I smirked and turned into the kitchen.
"Hey! Don't leave me like this!" Kirk yelled making me hum a song.

•Kirk•
I growled then I felt the ice begin to melt seeing John was melting the ice with his hands. Once the ice had disappeared John stood up and looked at me.
"Alright, we're going to school today, we'll go and find out who has that tattoo" he said making me nod.

•Eunice•
Well, the guys did allow us to go to school, at least it's better than staying at home. I was up in the air, I could feel the cool breeze flow straight through my wings while I was up here. I was flying ahead with James behind me. I haven't spoken to him once while we started flying. But I know he was about to say something sooner or later.
"Hey, are you ok?" He asked finally making me slow down and fly beside him.
"Fine, why?" I asked seeing him shrug.
"Well you were awfully quiet ever since yesterday. When you stormed in?" He mentioned the argument from yesterday making me sigh.
"I just don't like how Kirk protects us all the time. We can protect ourselves. I don't know if he sees that" I said making us slowly come to a stop and just stay in one place in the air.
"He does know that, it's just he can't have you or anyone get hurt. Him, Will and John are shadow knights, it's their job to protect us, they will continue to protect us and everyone in all 7 realms. Just try not to argue with him too much. Everything will be ok" he said making me continue to fly ahead.
