~Chapter 2~

John brought us to my house. I immediately walked towards my library being met up with my mom. I stopped and smiled at her.
"Hi mom" I asked seeing her look at me, down at my feet and up to my face.
"Honey you're still in your dress, oh and shouldn't you guys be at your celebration party at the school?" She asked making me sigh.
"Umm something happened and everyone thinks we're fake heroes" I said making her gasp.
"Why would they say that??" She asked and all the sudden my dad appeared from a mist of smoke.
"Sorry what now?? Fake heroes?!" Dad said making me groan.
"Yes dad, they all thought we made a fake Gorkan to scare everyone in the school. But it was actually real. Someone made it look like it was fake" I said then my mom and dad looked at each other.
"It was Duke wasn't it?" Dad asked making me cross my eyebrows and look at them.
"How do you know Duke?" I asked making Mom sigh.
"We know his parents, Susan and Rick. We're not friends with them but we know them. Duke's family is filled with a bunch of tricksters. If you know Loki, God of Mischief, that's where all those tricksters were formed. Anyway, his family always plays tricks or pranks with everyone in their neighbourhood, workplace, even school." My mom said making me look at everyone behind me and back at her.
"He made us look like we made that Gorkan and embarrassed us in front of the whole school." Paisley said making mom sigh. I looked at mom.
"Mom, do you know anything about a creature, half horse and half mermaid/merman?" I asked making her and dad gasp.
"Eunice?!"they screamed making me jump.
"What?" I asked they looked at me and my friends.
"Why do you ask?" They asked making me answer.
"Well, this Duke kid is one of those creatures" I said making mom take my hand and walk me into the library. My friends followed. She then stopped in one of the aisles of bookshelves and pulled out a book. She opened it up and turned a few pages.
"They are another version of sirens. They are called Seirínas. It's Greek meaning Siren. They have a horn on the top of their head with unbelievably incredible powers that can do anything. And since Duke is a trickster, his tricks can probably be far more dangerous then they should be." My mom said making her hand the book to me. I took a look at the picture, it was the same picture that I imagined when my friends told me their story.
"Since most tricksters can transform into these sirens, the only way to beat them is by beating them by their own game." I said hearing Will respond.
"So pranking them back?" He asked making me look back down at the book.
"I guess so." I said making me close the book.
"Ok so we just need to trick Duke to get rid of that problem but what about the note from Hades?" Paisley said making me hum.
"Well first we need to know if he escaped from Satan or not" I said making them all nod.
"Oh please tell me we're not going down there again" Jayden said making me scratch my head and groan.
"Well, we can't really summon Satan without my Uncle" I said making them all drop their heads down, disappointed the fact we needed to go back down there where we all nearly died.
"Come on, we just need to Check if Hades is still locked up" I spoke, trying to cheer them up a bit but clearly it didn't work.
"You know what, Me and Jewel have to get going" Kylah said making me look at her.
"Where ya going?" Jayden asked seeing the two girls make their way towards the door.
"I'm leaving in a few minutes with Jewel to go to the mortal world" they said making my eyes widened. I stood there silent and suddenly thought about my old life back in the mortal world. I miss that place.
"The mortal world? Where Eunice used to live? Why?" Kirk asked as he turned to the girls by the door.
"Sight-see" they said in unison, saying nothing else and walked out of the house closing the door.
"I wonder where they got the idea to go to the mortal world?" Praise asked making everyone shrug. I didn't move one bit, I didn't even say a word. I was just stuck staring down at the floor in front of me thinking. The mortal world. Where I didn't have any weird, dangerous problems like I went through here in the Special Realm. I mean it's cool having powers and all but sometimes I wish I was a human again. I then heard someone snapping in front of me.
"Uhh, Eunice? Are you awake?" He asked, I noticed Will was the one snapping his fingers in front of me. I shook my head and looked at him.
"Yea" I said making him cross his eyebrows a bit confused. They all looked at me strange. I looked at each and everyone also confused.
"What?" I asked seeing them shrug.
"You kinda went silent there after Jewel and Kylah mentioned Mortal World" Will stated making me sigh and pull of a soft smile.
"It's nothing, don't worry, I nearly forgot about that world" I said making Will pat my shoulder.
"It's ok to miss home, just so you know you can visit home anytime. Just as long as you come back" he said making me look at him after he said that. Everyone began to chuckle as soon as Will said that. He then stuttered and immediately responded. "Because James will miss you" he said saving himself from getting teased which got us all to laugh.
