Chapter 4 (Picture of Stephanie)

AVA’S POV

Right After I came back, I noticed two unexpected guests sitting in my room with serious expressions on their faces. They were my best friends Stephanie Cooper and Stefan Greene. You guys do know about Stefanie the girl who loves gossip into guys and makeup. While my other best friend Stefan is the serious and the calm quite types who has always been the mamma’s boy and always protective about me and Stefanie as he loves us both we three are together since first grade. Sorry back to business….

“Ava, where have you been the whole day” Stephanie asked me in an angry tone

“Steph what’s wrong you seem pretty pissed of all cool” I replied keeping my bag on my side table and sitting beside her to hear her out.

“How can all be cool Ava, when you left me and Stefan to the chemistry presentation when you yourself had all the data, we had nothing to show to the class today we looked like complete idiots out there , if you couldn’t attend the presentation you could have at least informed any one of us you know calling isn’t  that of a hard work and by the way I was calling you like shit the whole day what the hell is wrong with your cell” Steph replied still maintaining her angry tone.

“Stephanie let her explain don’t go on with your arguments let her speak I’m sure you have a good reason Ava” Stefan interrupted stopping the cat fight which could have occurred

“Yes I do, have a good reason guys and Steph please don’t get angry I’m very sorry actually it just slipped from my mind that today it was our presentation and my phone’s battery is dead”

You do remember Ava that this was our first chance ever to do a presentation together we were so excited and you do know how important was it for me to get good grades in this presentation to pass so, go on, I want to know your very good reason for which will cost us to fail” Stephanie replied while Stefan held her shoulder to calm her down and mumbled something to her ears.

No don’t you guys think that Stephanie is a bad best friend she just doesn’t listen to anyone when she’s angry but I’m sure when she knows the reason she would understand.

“Steph, I was out with Aiden the whole day,” I replied in a soft tone not wanting to say the truth to them

“What!!! How? Why? I mean you guys going out or something like that why didn’t you tell me Ava”

Stephanie asked getting excited with a hug smile on her face and her anger suddenly just vanishing away. Talk about girls who love gossip.

“Yea is that true Ava you guys really going out how did this happen out of blue” Stefan asked

“Guys get me a chance to explain everything will you?”

“Sorry” Steph and Stefan replied at the same time

“So, first thing I don’t like him” I just lied looking at the ground and not in their eyes “So why will we go out and Stephanie no need to get excited as I am not dating him” I replied as Stephanie sighed in disappointment.

“And today, I was with Aiden because he wanted to bunk history class and he needed my help I don’t even know why I agreed to help him out as last time I helped him out I was detained but I did and we were out the whole day and, and we ate went up to a beautiful hill from where you could see the whole town we sang together talked a lot, actually I got to know a side of him which I never knew, wow today it was one heck of fun with him. So while I was with him and was having fun it completely slipped my mind I’m sorry Steph and Stefan if I had remembered I would’ve never been gone in the first place”

Both Stephanie and Stefan looked at each other’s face as I told them about where I had been the whole day. “Woah Ava so do you mean to say you had been out on a date with him because you did everything people do on dates” Stefan asked in a confused tone

“Yea same question best friend”

“No you guys you-u are-re getting me wrong we are so not dating se-seriously I-I am not lying and besides can’t two friends just go out to have some fun and why will The Aiden Harrison date me I’m not his type and most importantly I DON’T like him like that ” I replied. Oh god why did I have to be so bad at lying.

“Stop lying Av” two of them objected together

“Wow you both have the same sense of timing of speaking and no I’m not lying if I would be dating him you would have heard the rumors, remember we are talking about the popular guy here”

“Yes alright let’s agree on that, but you have to agree you are totally crushing on him Ava, did you see yourself the way you smile when you are talking about him and you changed and oh when I said I was going to try on Aiden to come to prom with me your face dropped but I didn’t take it seriously. Love makes people change Ava I mean the ultimate geek like you can’t forget about an assignment she’s been working on for months” Stephanie said

“I know Stephanie but people change with circumstances it doesn’t always take love to change them right” I lied AGAIN when Stephanie gave me “THE look” her look wow it was scary. Shit what am I supposed to do now, why do I have to make everything so obvious? I guess I should share my secret with them I mean they are my best friends and I can no longer fight this all by myself. “OK fine you win Steph but please don’t take me to be a complete fool yes I do like him not actually like I’m in love with him since third grade I have just been trying to stay away from him but circumstances just bring us closer when I make up my mind that I will stay away from him that very day he has to spoil it and I can’t even be mean to be what am I supposed to do?” I replied suddenly bursting into tears

“Aww Ava you could have talked to us about it look what you are going through you have hidden your pain under your smile you should have talked with us that’s what friends are for and why would we laugh at you I’m sure you can’t control on you who you fall in love with and I don’t blame you he is one heck of an hot ass girl” Stephanie replied quickly pulling me into a hug.

“God Steph you are never gonna change “I replied smiling at her a bit still tears gathered in my eyes

“Yea exactly Av, I thought we were your best friends and best friends share all their secrets that’s what makes them best friends , remember you yourself told us that and now you are moving back from you own words, c’mon girl we are here for you “ Stefan assured joining the hug

“What you have no right to say my best friends and idiot Ms.Ava Finn, you are no idiot please stop feeling bad before you even know Aiden like you or not you have to give it a shot first ,tell me what you guys did today?” Stephanie asked

“We didn’t do much though we were normal we ate first, we sang together some Enrique and pitbull songs didn’t know guys like songs like that and we went up to this hill where he was sad and I hugged him and he held me tight …and you know something that very moment I was just hoping the time would stay still and I was hugging him just like that I felt so secured in his arms and then again he hugged me before leaving”

“Erm…I think those are pretty good signs Av” Stefan said

“But he asked me to go with George to the prom and he’s going with Jane parkers”

“Ava be strong I’m sure e must have thought you like George, oh and se we cannot just jump into conclusions without knowing what he feels “Stephanie replied

“So how do we know how he feels he just won’t say anything?”

“Don’t expect him to say anything to you Ava because he won’t” Stephanie said

“So girls I am hoping we need a master plan to know about Aiden’s feeling or would you ladies prefer to wait for his action “Stefan said with an evil smile.

“PLAN” both me and Stephanie declared at once

“Then plan it is Mission Aiden” Stefan assured.

Sorry guys I had to cut off Aiden’s part off from this chapter but in the next chapter there would be a lot of Aiden parts. Please guys read my story trust me it’s not a bad choice I’m working really hard to write them so please read and enjoy.
