Anyways, I've heard legends about monsters that live underground...
They exist.

I continued walking around in the "Hotlands" or whatever it was called. I had asked this random yellow monster in a striped shirt for my exact location but he refused to tell me unless I kissed him.
Yeah it was weird, but you can't say much I mean... These monsters aren't too polite.
At this point, I was so tired... I really couldn't stand walking anymore. My legs felt like they were going to crack clean off. I eventually came to what appeared to be a lemonade stand or something.
That's when I saw him...
"Sans! Oh my god!" I ran over to him, smiling.
"It's so great to see someone I know around here!"
"heh, heya kiddo... uhh... wait a second... what in the name of asgore are you doing in hotlands?!"
My whole body trembled, remembering Undyne.
"Well... A fish monster captured me and-" I was cut off by sans pulling me into a hug.
"I-I'm so sorry kiddo... aw man..." He broke away from me for a moment.
"I was supposed to be looking for you... papyrus was worried sick! t-this is all my fault..." Sans seemed to be tearing up, despite being a skeleton.
The again, it was no surprise considering my circumstances.
"Sans... Shhhh... It's okay..." I finally hugged him back, despite remembering when he shoved me down his shirt.
"It's fine sans... I'm here now..." I patted his back, breaking away from the hug to look at him.
The skeleton's eye-sockets widened. I looked away embarrassedly. I guess I kind of trusted sans.
He was the only one who didn't capture me and it comforted me to see he actually cared about me.
But, I wasn't going to give up on going home...
Not yet at least...
"Sans?" I asked, resisting the urge to yawn.
"yup?"
"I'm tired... I-Is there anywhere around here I can stay? Like a hotel or inn?" I rubbed my eyes tiredly.
"ohhh uhhh... yeah... there should be one down the road... you got any money?" He looked at me, doubtfully.
"Nope."
"heh. didn't think so." He chuckled, putting an arm around me.
"tell you what, I'll get you a room and in exchange..." A grin grew on his face.
My heart stopped. Sans didn't mean he wanted me to s-
"you forget that whole shirt thing I did when we first met. It was rude of me and I really shouldn't have done it..."
My jaw dropped, nearly hitting the floor.

He blushed blue, looking away.
"y-yeah... s-sorry to have brought it up..."
"Sold!" I laughed, feeling like a gutter brain.
Sans laughed as well, awkwardly.
"I thought you were gonna ask me to do something else... Yeahhhhhhh..."
He got the message, beginning to laugh as much as me.
"oh my god, kiddo..." Sans shoved my shoulder playfully.
He then patted it, comfortingly.
"here... it's getting late out here... I don't wantcha to run into any trouble so... We should probably get our BONES working! heh."
