♫ Learning From Her ♫

Lucy decided to pay Natsu a visit, most likely to pay him a gift as a thank you for letting her sleep at his house for the night. Jude was also very thankful for Natsu to let her sleep over for the night, for he trusted Natsu to keep her safe at all times any way.

Her gift for Natsu wasn't a sentimental idea, but it was humorous and hopefully good enough to see that goofy smile on her boyfriend's smile—her favorite smile. She knocked on the door twice, humming patiently as muffled shuffles were heard behind the door.

The door swung open to reveal Natsu, who looked as if he just woken up, "Hey, babe." He yawned tiredly. He noticed her hands holding something behind her back as he pointed at her suspiciously.

"What's that behind you?" She finally revealed her gift, shaking the box as pieces of something were heard.

"Looks like my gift is convenient enough, since you just woke up." She walked inside his house to place the wrapped gift on his kitchen counter, sitting down on one of his kitchen stools. His eyes beamed when he saw the sight of his gift, knowing how his excitement peaked when it came to the idea of receiving gifts.

He rushed to the table, ripping the wrapping paper with no care, "You got me Cocoa Puffs!" He yelled like a little kid, his cheeks almost hurting from his big smile. Lucy couldn't help but be shocked to see he'd be that excited for cereal, but making her heart melt as to see Natsu being so lovable and genuine.

"You're so cute, you remind of a kid." She chortled as she pecked his smiling cheeks. He hummed in content with the warmth of her lips then quickly opened the cereal box, ready to start off his day with his now new favorite cereal.

"Why did you have to wrap a cereal box for me? You literally could've handed it to me." He mumbled with his mouth full as milk drooled out of his mouth and onto his chin.

"Because I wanted to thank you for yesterday." She said with a flustered smile, hoping the gift was at least sentimental as a thank you.

"Well, I appreciate it, but you don't have to thank me," He drank the chocolate milk from his bowl, "Besides, it was nice to have some company for once." He whispered only to himself.

"What was that?"

"I said it was nice that I got some cereal out of it." He lied, hoping for a comical response in which she grunted and whacked his head.

"Wow, and I really thought you were going to say something nice for once." She grabbed the finished bowl and stood up to clean it for him. It was something they were both used to now; she'd come over and do his dishes. Recently, Natsu argued how she shouldn't clean his dishes and that it was his responsibility, but she offered to and he couldn't help but find that they acted like a married couple.

"Hey, wait, so you're saying I've never said anything nice to you before?" He pouted, poking her side. She tried to muffle her giggles to hide the fact that she is ticklish, however, there was no way of hiding it if he was constantly poking her side.

"Well, when was the last time you have ever said anything nice to me, and jokes aside." Her arms crossed after finishing up her cleaning.

"Uh, I said you were hot?" He even questioned himself.

"I said jokes aside."

"But it's not a joke, you are hot." Lucy threw a wet sponge at his face as she blushed furiously at him.

"Natsu stop being a flirty pervert, and just be classy for once." She huffed angrily. He grabbed the sponge off his face and placed it on his kitchen counter. He sighed slowly, thinking about if there was ever a time he said something nice. He wasn't one to be a gentleman, he had to admit. He was more of a reckless idiot who loves to play around. Sometimes he questioned why Lucy would ever date an immature child like him.
