It's been a month since we started our US trip and it has been the craziest month of my life. I enjoyed every single day I spent with Maine on this trip. I still think of Laura, I might always be, but being with Maine gave me something more. She made me feel that your happiness comes first.
Yesterday, we attended Athena and Charmaine's first birthday party, Andrew and Gara's twin girls. Sobrang cute nung mga bata, kamukhang-kamukha ni Andrew. Si Maine naman halos iuwi na yung isa sa mga kambal, gagawin daw niyang keychain. Minsan hindi ko alam kung anong tumatakbo sa utak nito eh.
Hindi na kami nakabili ng mga regalo so Maine and I decided to do a special birthday video for the twins using photos and video footages from their parents starting their birth until their birthday party. Gara almost cried because she said it was the best personalized gift for her daughters.
Seeing the twins, naisip ko kung paano kung ako naman yung may anak? It would be hard, of course. Pero yung tipong kuntento ka na sa mga anak at asawa mo, seeing them happy, it's just fulfilling.
"Hey, anong iniisip mo?" Maine asked.
Nakatambay kami ngayon sa The High Line, nakatingin lang sa mga dumadaan.
Hinila ko siya patabi sa akin then kissed her forehead. She nuzzled her head on my neck as she sat down beside me, snuggling.
"Naisip ko lang, paano kung may anak na ko."
"Wow. Wala ka ngang girlfriend ngayon tapos anak agad?"
"Iniisip ko lang naman ah?"
"Alam mo, Ritsard, maggirlfriend ka muna bago ka mag-isip ng kung—hey, why'd you kiss me?!"
I smirked at her. "Gusto ko lang."
"Kiss stealer ka—mmmpppp! Hay naku!"
"Pwede namang hindi rin ako ikiss kung ayaw mo talaga."
She leaned on me, our foreheads touching then she chuckled. "Well I kinda like it so.."
She kissed me once more, with our tongues roaming around the insides of our mouth. I pulled her closer to me, my arms on her back.
We were both smiling like an idiot as we pulled off our kiss.

We decided to eat at Katz's Deli for dinner, the one where they shot the movie Harry Met Sally. The deli was full, pero sakto, the exact table they used became available. Tumakbo agad si Maine papunta doon.
"Oh my god, nandito na tayo," she said. She was so excited. "We're sitting at the exact table!!"
"Uy, pinagtitinginan ka na ng mga tao oh."
"Bakit ba, masaya ako eh!"
I kissed her forehead and smiled. "Oorder na ko. Stay put, okay?"

"That was delicious! Grabe, ang sarap ng food nila dito!" Maine said after finishing up her dessert. She ate two slices of strawberry cheesecakes and one slice of blueberry cheesecake. Nakiagaw pa nga siya sa chocolate cake ko.
"Hindi naman halatang nasarapan ka eh. Naubos mo nga oh."
"Hoy, ikaw din naman ah? Sarap na sarap ka pa nga sa food!"
"Wala naman akong sinabi."
"Ewan." She was smiling at me like an idiot.
"Ang creepy ng ngiti mo, Maine. Seryoso."
