The Other NightFury

WOOHOO! (Part 20!!!)

David's POV

I was searching for that stupid NightFury Eclipse calls Toothless. I already captured all of the dragons . . . But the people . . . Anyway, I was on my way back to Eclispe's cage, I heard the sound of a male NightFury in there with her. I slowly peeked around the corner, signaling my guards to be quiet.

I saw him in there, I shut the door, as tight as it would go. "Get me some chains. NOW!" I yelled at the guards standing around dumbfounded. They scurried away and came back with a handful of chains with them. I walked into the room, bringing the chains with me.

"Hello Toothless." He growled and turned towards me. "Don't worry, I didn't hurt your friends." I told him as I  tied him tightly to the back wall. I tied him as far away from Eclipse as possible. I heard Toothless mumble something under his breath.

"Get used to it, bud, your going to be here for a while." I told him. "I'm not your BUD." He stated. "Feisty, makes it more fun." I said as I tightened his chains and teleported out. "Don't feed them, for a week." I said as I walked away from the cell.

I heard a whimper from the male NightFury, it made me chuckle as I walked away.

Hiccups POV

I opened my eyes, rubbing my head in the process. "Ugh, what happened?" I asked. "Hiccup! You're okay!" Astrid said as she ran over and hugged me. "This man is like nothing we have ever dealt with before. He is WAY stronger than Drago. . ." Fishlegs started and continued talking to himself.

"Where's Barf?" Ruff started. "Yeah, where's Belch?" Tuff asked. The guard looked at them with a cold hard stare. Then turned away and opened the door. The light outside the door was so bright, it nearly blinded me.

A figure walked into the room, dramatic entrance much. "Hello, as you all must know, I am David." The figure said. "David what?" I questioned. "You're not going to know that much. Anyway, your dragons are safe, for now. If you join my side, I won't kill your dragons." He said as the doors closed behind him.

Tuff spit in his direction, "You'll never win us over like that!" He yelled. Ruff on the other hand crawled over to him and begged to join. "Oh please, don't hurt my dragon! I'll join if you don't lay a hand on him!" She said with a highly squeaky voice. "Traitor." Tuff said.

"You totally just ditched the team." I looked over at Tuff making accusations. "Ugh, I think I'll join Ruff if it means getting out of this dark room . . ." Snotlout said in a really cracky voice.

"Come on guys, don't join HIM." Astrid insisted. "What are we supposed to do? We are already caught and we don't have our dragons." Fishlegs noted. I stared right at David. Something about him made me figure he was lying. "He won't hurt the dragons, he wants them, nothing will happen to them." I told everyone.

"You sure?" Astrid asked quietly. "Positive." I replied and saw David's smile faultier. Fishlegs on the other hand was making a squeaky sound. "Hiccup, I don't know, he looks pretty determined." Fishlegs said.

"Just trust me." I told him as I looked at him shaking uncontrollably. "David is there enough room for one more?" Fishlegs asked nervously as he got to his feet. I would have face palmed but my hands were tied behind me.

"Good choice, might save your life." David said as he started exciting the room. "Well, nice to know we're the only loyal ones." Astrid noted. "Yea-" I started, but stopped when I heard a scream from the halls.

We shared an expression, as we crawled over to a window we could see the hallways from. Nothing was there, I had a bad feeling emerging in my stomach.

Toothless POV

"Eclipse? Are you awake yet?" I asked her as I crawled closer. I heard a yawn then saw two blue eyes look at me. "Toothless?" She asked in a worried voice. "I'm right here." I told her from about two yards away. "What happened to the rest of them?" She asked me nervously. "I don't know, they're in a different room." I told her. "What about Sam?" Eclipse questioned.

"I don't know, anything could've happened." I told her. I think I heard . . . Crying? "Eclipse your fine, I'm here for you." I told her. "This whole thing is my fault, I'm sorry." She told me.

*Six days later*

Eclipse POV

We're hungry, scared and worst of all, we don't know what happened to our friends. Toothless and I have gotten closer every minute of every day. He is constantly trying to get me to laugh, if only he was funny. "Eclipse, guess who I am." He started, I wasn't in the mood though.

"Eclipse? Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah I'm fine, just wish I could shift human. After that David fellow caught me, he poisoned me so I couldn't shift while I was in his home." I told Toothless. "Eclipse . . ." Toothless started but got cut off by the sound of my stomach growl.

"He is coming." I stated as I pushed myself to the farthest side of the cell as possible. The doors creaked open. "David." Toothless said. "Hello Eclipse . . . Toothless. I just wanted to inform you, your friends are okay, for now. As long as you do what I say, I won't hurt them. But if you don't do what I say-" He made a gesture of cutting someone's head off.

"Leave them alone, its not them you want anyway, its us." I said to him. The chains on both of us tightened, blood slowly dripping from how far in it was. "I was only stating a fact!" I choked out before the chains got too tight. My limbs were so strongly pulled inward, I felt like it was going to cut off.

"STOP!" Toothless screamed. The light from the halls shown in on the room, blood covering all around us. "I'll let your friends go, if you work for me, forever. If not, certain death." He said as he left the room. The door shut behind him the chains loosened. I coughed, choking on the blood going into my mouth.

"Its official, we're going to die here." I noted as I crawled as best as I could to Toothless. I shot a small flame, as large as I could with a muzzled mouth. I looked at our legs and necks. The chains at least went three inches in. Our scales there were completely cracked, and felt like a nail that had broken too short.

"Least we'll die together." Toothless said as he wrapped his wing over mine. "Toothless, if we don't get out of here I wanted to let you know, I wouldn't want to be tied up in here with anyone else." I told him as I snuggled as close to him as possible.

Sams POV

They've been gone for over six days, I have been searching for every minute of the time. I took one of the dragons from Berk, it was a Nadder. She promised to help me find my sister. The thing is, I can't seem to find her, what a terrible brother I am. I have come across so many islands, but none of them were ones she was at.

I was just about to give up for the night and rest, when I saw an island, made of metal. Some type of dragon metal they couldn't get through. We landed, on the part of the island that was grass. I started searching all night, for any hope of an entrance. She stayed behind to watch out for any others.

Eclipse POV

"He is here." I said aloud to Toothless. "Who?" He asked, but before I could answer a loud BOOM sounded. "Sam." I said as I got up onto my struggling feet. I heard many blasts, I heard Viking screams, then I saw David.
