(Young) Iceberg x Reader

You were so dazed at how Iceberg you close friend built ships. He was so strong. So creative.

You sat on a pile of light wooden planks. Tom, Franky and Iceberg all building a ship. You watched happily but wanted to join in. Iceberg wouldn't let you because they were afraid of you getting hurt.

You didn't care! You want to make a boat too!

You got up and dragged a plank to the other side and started building. You looked back at them once in a while. They didn't seem to notice you weren't there. Guess they are really busy.

You shrugged and kept building.

It got darker and darker until it was complete black. You didn't have a single light on. Yes you banged your fingers with the hammer a few times but went on with hammering the nails in.

"[F/N]? What are you doing out here in the pitch black?"

You looked behind you too see who it was but was to dark until a lantern was turned on.

"I wanted to build too but you wouldn't let me..." you pouted as he just gave a low chuckle and put down the lantern by his feet and walked over to you with his own hammer.

He smiled and you couldn't help but smile back and continued to hammer the nails in with Ice burg help.

You were reaching the last two nails in the middle of the boat.

You but your hand on the side of the nail and hammered it in as iceberg ended up placing his hand on your hand. Your cheeks turned red and heart raced.

You didn't want to move your hand because he might slip and hit his hand so you waited.

You looked over at him as he was smiling wrapping his hand around yours and hammered one last time as the nail went in fully.

"There your boat is done!" He smiled sitting back and wiped his forehead.

"You mean...our boat..." you smiled happily and leaned your back against the side of the boat in satisfaction.

He chuckled happily and sat next to you.

You laid down on the ground and looked up at the moon.

"The moon is so beautiful at this time of night isn't it?"

His hand wrapped around your hand again. This time you held his hand back and he laced his fingers into yours.

"Your more beautiful though." You looked up at him as he was already looking at you.

You lifted yourself off the ground and laid your head in his lap. You couldn't help but smile.

Your hands were still interlocked.

He then pulled you up onto his lap so he could wrap his arms around your waist and give your neck a gentle kiss.

You shivered with a light chuckle of pleasure as he even gave a low laugh.

You both sat there his body against yours just watching the stars at night and the moon shine bright.

This was the start of a new relationship.
