Chapter 5

Legolas' POV

As terrible as I felt about shutting Maera away, I must do it. For her sake... I couldn't see her hurt or even dead.

"Legolas, is everything alright?" A voice asked softly from behind

I knew that sound well.

Flashback

"If you wish to see her alive once more then do as I say. Stay away from her."

Flashback ends

I turned around to see Maeranna.

"Is everything alright?" Maera repeated

"Everything is fine." I said while putting a face on

"I don't think so! Why have you been shutting me out lately? Why have you gotten angry with me all of a sudden? Did I do something wrong?" She asked

"No, you haven't." I said with a straight voice

"Then why have you been shutting me out?" She asked

"It is none of your business." I said while going to her left to go pass her but she held me back.

"It is my business! You suddenly got angry with me! As I knew, no one gets angry for no reason!" She began yelling, I can see the hurt in her eyes

All I did was ignore her and got pass her.

Then I heard a faint whisper by my ear, "Good prince."

I look behind me to see Maera looking away in the stars. I know that she is hurt by me.

Once again, her voice came back, "Be a good prince and keep on doing as I say unless you want her dead within a second."

"I can't take this anymore!", I yelled at my self internally and I sprint up to my room and locked the door. I walked back and forth. Then she appeared out of thin air. She smirked lightly.

"Nice job, prince." She complimented

"Why are you doing this?" I asked in anger

"You know well why I'm doing this! You shouldn't have left me!" She yelled

I looked down, feeling defeated. She lifted up my chin and glared at me

"You know more than anyone not to mess with me. But YOU, would dare-"

"Its in the past! Maeranna is your friend!" I yelled at her for once

She took a step back and looked down for awhile before looking at me again.

"Alright. I shall allow you to be with her." She finally said

"Thank you!"

"Don't thank me yet, though I allow you to be with her, that does not mean that I will forgive you. And you know very well that I am not someone who will end things here." She said while glaring deeply into my eyes before disappearing again.

Maeranna's POV

I ran into my chambers and I lock the door shut. I fell down to the floor crying slowly. Why would he hate me for a reason I know nothing of? I changed into my nightgown and I went straight to bed.

NEXT MORNING

I woke up as early as possible and took a quick bath. I wore my orange hunting dress and a brown legging along with a brown boots. I packed my weapons, daggers, bow and plenty of arrows.

Knock knock

I opened the door to see no one, which clearly means, the hobbit is here.

"Bilbo, have you free them?" I asked
