At the sound of her phone ringing, Vera sat up in her bath full of bubbles and dried one of her hands. She quickly answered the phone and put it on speaker before the ringing could stop.
She put her phone back down and let her body sink back inside the warm water. ❝Vera's pizzeria, what would you like you order?❞
❝Wow. Suicide-stopper and pizzeria owner? Didn't know you were so busy.❞
❝Sage?!❞
❝Vera?!❞ he mocked her.
❝I forgot... I forgot all about me giving you my number. Sorry.❞
❝People forget about me all the time.❞
❝Sage!❞
❝What? You told me not to think about killing myself. I'm just thinking negatively about my life.❞
❝I don't get boys. No. I don't get you.❞
❝If you want me, just come get some.❞
