Chapter 8: Is that you?!

We got to school early so I decided to grab my books and notebooks from my locker and head to the library to do some advanced reading since I had 30 minutes of extra time. But of course that didn't last long considering that somebody had to interrupt me.

"Hi" a familiar voice said behind me "Do you know where the librarian is? I'm new here and I need to find a history novel"

I turned around to see my childhood bestfriend!

"Jasper?!" I asked excitedly as I got up from my chair

"Lunar?" He asked

I hugged him tightly and he respond back immediately "Oh my goodness what are you doing here?" I asked not removing the wide smile that formed my face

"Didn't you hear me? I moved here"

"I can't believe it!"

"Better believe Loon!"

We stopped hugging and decided to sit down and chat. "So what are you doing here?"

"Dad had a promotion so we had to move here to New York, I was excited because I knew you lived here so I could go visit you sometime but I didn't know which school you go to and where you lived so I tried contacting your parents but they wouldn't answer my calls considering I had a new number" He explained

"Oh my gosh!! Im so excited that your here, I have to introduce you to Luke, Bellamy and Nick!"

"Who are they?"

"My friends"

"Oh-okay, but I need my book first"

"Why?"

"I wanna read something.."

"Well then don't read" I said grabbing my stuff as well as his hands "Now lets go" I said pulling his hands behind me as we looked for the guys.

"Guys!" I called out while still holding Jasper's hand as he follows behind me
"What?" Asked Bellamy as he waved at me

"Who's the guy?" Luke asked annoyed while looking at Jasper angrily as we stood infront of him

"Oh right, this is Jasper" I motioned to Jasper

"And?" Nick added looking at Jasper from head to toe

"Oh well his my childhood friend from Vancouver!" I said smiling at Jasper

"Okay then" Luke said looking at Jasper and I's hand holding

Why has Luke been acting weird lately?

"Luke you okay?" I asked letting go of Jaspers hand and putting them ob hus shoulder

"Yeah, I'm fine" Luke said as he casually slaps my hand off and walks away

"I hope he's okay.." I said concerned

"He will be" Bellamy said

"I hope so.."
