Dear Diary,
The sleep over was amazing! At first I thought I'd be scared about going to another person's house for a full nighttime, but Madeline's mom is just lovely! Her daddy died in war when she was real small, so it's just her and her mom. Ms. Starr did karaoke with us, brought us hot chocolate when we couldn't sleep. I had such a great time, I would love to go again!
And at school today, I decided that Rose wasn't my friend anymore. She called me a sicko, and would you like to know what Madeline did, diary? Madeline called her a meanie and said that she was the sicko here! And then there was chocolate pudding in the cafeteria!
