Chapter 12* Failed

Lucy's P.O.V

I held my side and slowly got up with the support of Erza.
They were all in a carriage pulled by flying horses.
(yeah just pretend please)
"Look dad you broke my bride." Zachary teased. He stared at me with his blue eyes.
"Back down." I said sternly.
"Wha-"
"Natsu, Gray back down." I ordered. My side was ok, it was just a little bruised, so I wasn't really that hurt. I walked over to the Evans and bowed my head.
"I'm really sorry for lying to you it won't happen again."
"It better not happen again." Zachary scoffed. He was really getting on my nerves.
"If you take me back I would gladly accept marrying....your," I swallowed my words. "charming son."
They nodded in approval.
"Such class for a lady of a guild." Mrs.Evans said joyfully.
"Very well." Mr. Evans said as they lowered their carriage.
"No funny business." He said sternly.
"Yes sir." I said nodding my head.
He pulled out a walkie talkie.
"Pull back." He said into it.
"Yes sir." someone answered back quickly.
"Lucy...." I turned and saw Erza.
Gray looked away, While Natsu looked down with his fists clenched.
"Lushee." Happy called hugging me. I hugged him back.
"It's ok happy I'll be fine watch over natsu for me." I smiled slightly. "Tell him he has a chance with lisanna-chan." I encouraged. "You'll be a happy family." He looked at me with tears.
"But you won't be in it?" He said.
I held back my tears.
"Happy lets go now," Gray said. Happy nodded and hesitated before breaking the hug.
"Good luck Lucy I'm sorry it didn't work out as it planned." Erza grimaced
"You tried." I answered. "Bye guys." I got on the carriage carefully and we slowly lifted into the air.

"Natsu-"
"She's gone." Erza looked at her long time friend.
"Yeah she's gone." She replied carefully. Nasu looked up and saw the carriage in a distance.
"Natsu c'mon we have to go." Gray said quietly. Natsu didn't say a word.
"Nats-" He quickly took off. Erza sighed. Once the two mages walked in.
"Lu-chan !" Levy cheered.
The guild was silenced by something falling on the floor. Two rings.
"We failed."

Natsu was walking to his house.
"She's gone.." He just couldn't believe it, Lucy was gone...
"He has a chance with lisanna."
Her words echoed in his head.
He didn't want lisanna...
He wanted....Lucy.....
He realized something...
"Lucy I want you."
