So first off my fear of heights was peaking since I cleverly decided to look away and avoid eye contact which meant looking over the side of the escalator and seeing how far up I was and then to make matters worse he decided that was the perfect moment for him and his group of friends to get onto the escalator that was going down and so I resorted to looking down at my boot clad feet and flushing pink from the embarrassment. I swear I saw him smirk cutely out of the corner of my eye but then I was on the landing of the movie floor and he was descending to the second floor, behind me, and the moment was over. Just like that. But if you thought that it was over in my head, you'd be sourly mistaken. For the rest of the day I replayed those couple minutes in my head over and over again thinking of how it could've gone differently and how there was a chance that he wasn't actually looking at me and I had just made a complete fool of myself, well, I did that either way. Fact was, I couldn't get him out of my head.

That night we were talking on the group chat while I was snuggled up under my blanket, an empty popcorn bowl to my side proved that one could never have enough popcorn, and He came up in the conversation. Reagan told us about how he'd messaged her and said something along the lines of ,"hey mizer, why didn't you come say hello to me?" And her reply was the excuse that she wasn't sure that it was Him. Isaac Romero. Shit damn I could already feel that blush creeping back up at the mere sight of his name.

Nikki: why don't you give me his number, I'd have no problem saying hello ;)
Reegz: uhhhhh not this again smh
Liza: yaas get in there girl
Reegz: you know what, I think I'll give him your number Niks
Nikki: wait hold up hold up I was joking

"Oms oms oms," I chanted.
"He asked her for my number?!" I exclaimed as I had a mini freak attack without moving from my bundle of warmth.
"Okay pull it together Nicole," I said with my eyes shut tightly.
"Breathe."

Nikki to Isaac: uhm hi🙈
Isaac: I know this is probably an inconvenience to you but I couldn't help wanting to put a name to your face.
Nikki: oh, well it's no inconvenience
Nikki: Reegz explained

Nikki: so you noticed eh?
Isaac: hmmm I like it
Isaac: what else do you like?👀

I held my breathe, my thumbs freezing in place over the bright screen of my phone which was clutched tightly in my hands. What was my name again?

Nikki: I like talking to you
Nikki: so far
Isaac: that's good to hear, I was starting to think I'd scared you off
Nikki: you haven't
Nikki: so far
Isaac: well then since I've made a good impression I wouldn't want to ruin that by keeping you up too late...

In my head I was thinking no, don't go nice boy, I like talking to you, but that would be rather creepy so instead I opted for a simple-
