Upon arriving at Tom's I cringe. Remembering what his place was like. I never liked it here. I was always trying to tell every girl who went out with him that he was a major drug addict but they shook it off and the next day they were just as high as he was. Carly was the only logical one and ever really went to his house if I was there, which was surprisingly a lot.

"Everything OK?" Dean asks me and I shrug.

"I honestly don't know anymore. He's a druggie and his place just stinks to high heaven." I explain and he cringes also but then smiles.

"Well then, lets scare the crap out of him." Then he gets out of the car and I have no choice but to follow him.

Dean knocks on the door and we stand there, waiting a bit until the door is answered. Which took 5 damned minutes.

"Agent Johnson. Mr. Campbell, I'm going to have to get you to step outside for a minute." Dean orders and I stand behind him awkwardly, trying not to be seen. I see Tom falter and I try to not to laugh. He thinks he's being busted for drugs.

"Look man, I-" He says but Dean interrupts him.

"That isn't what this is about. Its about your ex girlfriend Carly." Dean says and he scoffs.

"Well, not that I care much, but what happened?"

"She died last night. Witnesses say that you were mad at her after she dumped you. We just need to ask a few questions." Dean assures. Tom steps out and sees me standing there.

"You have got to be kidding me. You're here too? Did you tell them about all this?" I look up with a confused look on my face.

"Tell them what?"

"That I do this. Did you tell them?"

"Yes but, it wouldn't take a genius to know what you do in there mate." I cringe and he scoffs.

"Look, I didn't kill Carly." He says. Now starting to get louder with every word. I swear I even saw his eyes turn a little different but I think Dean saw them too and decided to get this done quickly.

"I never said you did. I just need to ask you a few things." Dean tells him and so he stands there, arms crossed. "When was the last time you saw and spoke to Carly?"

"Last week. I tried to apologise to her and tell her why I was being such a dick but, she just told me to shut up and walked off. That was the last time."

"OK. Did she seem different?"

"No. Like how she was when I first met her. Happy. Normal." He says then he mutters something under his breath. Something I couldn't make out.

"What was that?"

"Uh nothing. Anything else?"

"Uh yeah. Would there be any reason on why she dumped you?"

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"We're thorough and-look, we just need an answer. We're thorough and like to explore all possible fields."

"Look, I DID NOT kill her. And I wouldn't think of it." Then I drowned out every word after that. Because he had longer fingernails and did not look like he did 5 seconds ago. My eyes widen and before I know it, Dean and I are bolting down the steps toward the car, away from that cannibalistic thing.

When we get to the car, I was breathing heavily and Dean seemed quite shocked at how quickly things had turned. After a bit, he started up the car and we drove off. That was when I found my voice and spoke.

"What the hell was that thing? And what the hell just happened?" I ask him and he smiles.

"That was a werewolf and I should've known. He was lying by the way."

"Oh yeah obviously but really, werewolf? You can't be serious."

"Oh, trust me. I am."

"So what? One of my worst nightmares as a kid, are real and my parents, whether they knew or not, lied to me about monsters being real?"

"Yes."

"OK? Well, what else is real?"

"Ghosts." He starts to list and look at him with an are you serious look.

"Obviously."

"Wait. You believe in that stuff?"

"Yeah. To me it seems logical but, trust me, I have NOT tried to summon one."

"Good. You believe in demons?"

"No. Ghosts are the only thing I believe in. Don't push your luck."

"Well, then lets just say, every nightmare you had as kid, are real. There could've been a monster under your bed or in your closet. You'll never know."

"Gee thanks. That is so reassuring. So, how do you know that they're real?"

"I hunt them." He says simply.

"Oh my hero. And are you insane?"

"Yes. Yes I believe I am."

"Well then. Let me guess, the next thing you're going to tell me is that I'm never going to see you again even though I have the knowledge of all this."

"Chances are yes, that will happen. Unless, you grow on me." He jokes and I smile and fake laugh.

I hated to admit it, but this was the first time I had actually liked someone since I moved here and broke up with my boyfriend 2 years ago. All this guy was supposed to be, was a one night stand and a distraction from my terrible and horrible life.

"Well, I think I can take it from here, do you want me to drop you off at your house?" He asks me after a moment of silence and I look over and nod then clear my throat.

"Uh yeah. Yeah that would be great." I answer and he nods. Then we're in silence and I hear the song on the radio. I soon recognise it to be highway to hell and I smile before turning it up. I didn't miss the glance from Dean though when he saw I was turning up the radio and NOT changing the station or tape. Then I start singing along to it unconsciously, then start getting louder out of habit.

I'm on the highway to hell
On the highway to hell
Highway to hell

I'm on the highway to hell

Then Dean and I both start singing along to it. It was really fun and and quite humorous.

Maybe today did turn out good after all.
