Chapter 12: Life Decisions

I walk out the store before hailing a taxi to take me back to the office. Mr. Coletti let me take an early lunch in order to go to my doctor's appointment. Luckily for me there's a pharmacy in the office building, they told me my prescription will be ready for pick up at the end of the business day. I decided to get the pills, it seems to be the simplest with less side effects. I have to wait until my period starts to take it which works out perfectly since it should be coming soon. After work I'll pick it up before going to my old apartment, Jas and Rea finally got a new roommate who goes to our school. I told them I'd come over and meet her and to hang for a little according to them she seems cool so that's a good thing. I get enough drama in my life with Teo. When I get back to the office I get straight to work.

The hours pass by quickly and when I see Teo coming to my desk I can't help but to mumble a curse. I knew I forgot to do something but I got so busy I forgot about calling him. He's wearing grey joggers, a maroon tee with his back leather jacket. He's lucky he doesn't get cold because it's too cold out to be dressed the way he is. But damn he looks good and his hair is in yet another bun. I stand up from my desk as he approaches me.

"Hey, I forgot to tell you that I can't have lunch with you" I say after he pecks my lips.

"Why not?" he asks leaning on my desk.

"I took an early lunch."

"Why?"

"I had a doctor's appointment."

"For what?"

I groan in annoyance, why is he asking so many damn questions? "To get birth control."

He glares at me in anger. Here we go again, "what the fuck did you say?"

"You heard me Teo."

"No I didn't because I know my woman wouldn't do something like that without my consent."

"Your consent? Why the hell would I need your consent? It's my damn body and vagina."

He snarls even more pissed now. "It's my fucking pussy too. We should've talked about this!"

"There's no talking to you. It's your way or no way! I don't want a kid and you don't want to wear a condom. There's nothing to talk about."

"Like hell there isn't! You don't need the shit if it happens then it's meant to be!"

I groan, "I'm not fussing with you about birth control at my job. We'll talk about it later."

"This is far from over Danica!" he places a gentle kiss on my lips before walking away. (I want a dude that'll still kiss me when he's mad lol).

Everything with him is an argument, did he really think I was going to trust him with my baby fate? Hell no, if it was up to him I would've been pregnant weeks ago. It can never go smooth with us for too long.

I get into the car and he pulls off. Luckily I was able to get my birth control before Teo picked me up from work. I sigh, "Teo I know you want a kid and I get it but I can't deal with one right now. I have so much going on already with work and school. I don't need the extra stress. Plus, don't you think maybe our relationship is a little too unstable for a kid right now?"

"You choose to work Danica you don't have to. We're not perfect no but it's decent, we're on the right track."

I roll my eyes, "I have to work Teo we've discussed this. I can't just sit in the house twiddling my thumbs while you work. Another thing is if we're going to have a kid I want to be turned and married. I don't want to have my kid confused about where they fit in or something."
