Chapter 26: The Chapter Where Shit Hits the Fan!

Today I'm officially eight weeks pregnant. All the vampires know but they keep my secret out of respect which I'm beyond thankful for. Luckily my morning sickness isn't that bad anymore and my stomach is just slightly bigger making it easy to cover. After that day of shopping with the girls Teo decided to not be crazy and removed all the people he has watching me, which I was happy and grateful about. Valentines day came and went, we had a nice dinner and he got me a beautiful locket with a picture of us and our sonogram picture on the other side. I know I didn't want the baby at the beginning but honestly I've never felt a love like this, I'd do anything for my baby, kill those that try to harm my baby. It's pure unconditional love. You think you love your partner but loving your child is pure unfiltered love that is all consuming. I spend my mornings and nights talking to my baby. Hell sometimes I fall asleep listening to his heartbeat. Giselle gave us a monitor as a gift and I fell in love with listening to my baby. Currently it's what I'm doing, Mr. Coletti went out of town to visit family so I'm off all week. Teo left out to check on something but he should be back soon. I thought pre baby Teo was bad but now Teo really won't leave my side unless he really has to. Sometimes it can be suffocating other times I love it like I love him. Teo walks in the living room pulling an ear bud out.

"Hey" I say smiling up at him.

He leans down kissing my lips softly before scrunching his face up. "Stop eating fucking pickles and peanut butter."

I shrug, "I like it."

He shakes his head turning off the heartbeat monitor and placing it on the table. "Go get dressed, we're going out."

I fix my shirt standing up, "where are we going?"

"Get dressed and find out."

I walk out the living room to our bedroom and remove my clothes. I stop in the floor length mirror looking at my stomach. "Mommy loves you baby" I whisper caressing my stomach.

I snap out my trance when I feel another hand on my stomach. I look back to see Teo behind me. "Get dressed tesoro."

I walk into the closet and pull on a loose fitting black dress paired with black thigh high boots. I walk out the closet going to the bathroom pulling my curls out the messy bun letting them fall around my shoulders. I put on lip gloss before walking back into the room.

"Ready" I say with a grin.

He walks over to me grabbing my hand and leading me out. I gaze out the window during the ride to nowhere. Everyday I'm thankful for Teo coming into my life. Through the ups and downs I wouldn't trade it at all. Our story is ours and I'm sure there will be other problems that may arise but I'm confident now that we can handle anything. When the car stops it's at my favorite restaurant which he happens to own. We get out the car and walk into the dark empty place.

"What the heck?" I question.

Suddenly there's light but not a lot just dim lighting and string lights. Teo pulls me further into the room stopping dead center where burning candles form a circle and there's rose petals covering the floor. What is happening? I stare up at his grinning face trying not to cry.

"Teo what's going on?" I ask softly.

He clears his throat, "from the moment I saw you I knew you were the one for me. The one I wanted to spend the rest of what use to be a shitty existence." He lowers to one knee and I gasp wiping my tears away.
