Chapter 23: Revelations

Fuck, fuck, fuck! Why is this fucking happening to me? Normally I try not to curse unless I'm pissed and boy am I fucking pissed. Three weeks ago after Teo showed me the house we got food and I totally forgot about the Plan B but luckily I got my pills after class and managed to take one. Here's where shit went south, I fucking lost the pills at work! Can't blame that on Teo just my stupid ass but between work and school I've been crazy busy and that's how I ended up in the fucking bathroom of my job crying my eyes out at the two positive pregnancy test. Fucking shit! I try to compose myself tossing the test in my bag before washing my hands and walking out the bathroom. I walk back to my desk to see my boss standing there.

"Go home, rest" he says softly looking at me like I'm a sick scared toddler.

"I'm fine" I mange to get out.

"No you're not, get some rest I'll be okay for the day."

I nod, "okay."

I clean up my desk before getting my things and walking out. What am I going to do? This was not part of the plan at fucking all. Why hadn't I notice the signs? The slight weight gain, the tender breast, no fucking period, and I was always hungry and tired. How could I be so careless? I walk off the elevator going straight to the office which I find vacant so I walk around till I find him in a conference room. I walk in not really caring about the meeting and his eyes automatically lock on mine.

"Out!" he yells and everyone scatters out. "Come." I quickly rush into his arms. He wipes away my tears that I hadn't realized I cried. "Hey, what's wrong? Who do I have to kill for making you cry?"

"Me" I whisper out tucking further into his neck.

"What?"

I dig into my bag pulling out the tests handing them to him. He intakes a sharp breath looking at them. "They can be a false positive tesoro."

"What am I going to do if it's not?" I sob, "I'm not ready for a kid Teo"

He kisses me gently, "we'll figure it out."

He wipes my eyes before standing me up and leading me out the room. He goes to the elevator pressing down and when we get in he presses five. When the elevator stops the door opens revealing what seems to be a doctor's office. Wow. He leads me to the back to an exam room and helps me up on the bed just as Carm walks in. What the heck?

"I'm a doctor Dan don't worry" he says with a grin. "Do you think you can give me a sample?"

"I wish I could say no but I already have to pee again so yes."

He hands me a cup, "down the hall first door on the right."

I get up and walk out following directions before walking in and handling my business. I leave the cup in the window before washing my hands and walking out. When I walk back into the room Teo and Carm look to be in a heated discussion.

"What's going on?"

"Nothing" they both say.

"I'll come back when the results are in" Carm says gently before walking out.

"What did you do?" I ask getting back on the bed.

"Nothing tesoro, it was business."

I nod not bothering to question him anymore. I'm beyond nervous, what if I'm really pregnant? What am I really going to do? How will I finish school? Will I be able to continue to work? How would Teo feel? Shit how will my parents feel? They are going to freaking kill me. Who would our child look like the most? I would hope he'll get Teo eyes. I love Teo's eyes and my nose and hair. Carm walks back in snapping me out my thoughts.
