*time skip-1 year later*

My mother always told me, a broken heart is an open heart. I didn't think that was true until I figured out the secret. I was heart broken at first, I still am, but that's exactly why I'm here at college.

This was the last time I'd see my mom, at least not until break. I really didn't want to leave her, but I need to make a life for myself. I hope she'll understand. She parked the car in an open parking space and pulled the key out of the ignition. The wind blew threw my hair from the open window in the door. Mom looks a little upset, but as a parent I'd be upset too when my child left the nest.

"Mom are you sure you'll be alright..." I unbuckled my seatbelt with a click and grabbed my moms hand, which in turn, she put hers on top of mine, so she could reassure me and comfort herself.

"No... Of course I won't be ok, my baby boy is finally leaving me." Tears rolled down her pale, fragile checks, making her eyes red and puffy.

"But I knew this day would come. There's just no way to prepare for it, but don't you ever forget I'll be forever proud of you. No matter what." I smiled at her and wiped her tears with my hand. She returned the smile and pulled me into a hug.

"You better not forget to call me, especially if something happens. I know you'll be a great doctor. I have a feeling you're going to change the world someday." I eased my way out of the hug and kissed her goodbye on the forehead.

"Count on it dattebayo," I released my grip on her and closed the car door softly, also making sure to grab my luggage out of the trunk.

I walked to the doors of my new school, Konoha University-Department for Medical Students, and opened the doors, turning around to wave my mother goodbye as she drove off into the distance.

Once I was inside, I placed my suitcase on the white marble floor beneath me. To my right, was pictures of all the doctors and nurses that made history, a wall of fame if you will. Someday I shall be up on that wall, so new students for years to come will see my great achievements.

In front of me, was a grand stair case. Students were spaced out all over them studying books were everywhere, but despite all of that, there was still enough room to walk. The stairs were huge.

To my left, was the check in desk that had many papers neatly stacked in a pile, waiting to be filed. The person behind the desk wore a black pencil skirt, white shirt, and high heels. She was a women a couple of years older than me, but her blonde hair that was up in a tight bun, made her look older than it should have. I picked up my suitcase once again and walked over to her.

"How may I help you." She said to me as she keep typing what I'm guessing to be as a list of all the enrollments so far.

"I, um, I need to know my dorm number." She stopped typing and looked at me with widened eyes.

"Naruto! What are you doing here!" She hugged me from across the desk and knocked over a cup of pencils, but they didn't spill in the floor to my surprise.

"I-Ino? You have a job here." She stopped hugging me to pick the pencils up and place them in their proper place.

"Yeah I do. I wanted to be a nurse too, but I just can't compete with Sakura when it comes to that subject." She scratched her cheek in embarrassment and shook her head, trying to get back her focus.

"Anyways, your dorm number is...Floor C, room 5." She handed me a room card and began typing once again. I grabbed my suitcase and headed towards the stairs were the students from earlier crammed as much as they could before their exams.

Once I got up the steps, I looked around and saw a sign pointing toward the elevators.

"That's good I won't have to hike to get to my classes." I walked over to them and pressed the button for level C. While I was waiting, the fancy elevator music pressed its way into my brain.

Hopefully it won't get stuck in my head.

When the elevator stopped, I found my room, took out my room card and slid it into the golden pad lock, turning the knob slowly. I walked in and noticed one side of the room had already been claimed, the side with the balcony.

Great. What if I wanted that side, which I did.

Who ever my roommate was seemed to be a neat freak. Navy blue blankets were tucked neatly into place, the bedside table only had a small lamp and black glasses neatly placed on top, and black colored clothes were neatly put away in the closet.

Hmm..I think I'll get a shower before my roommate gets back. I do feel a bit dirty.

I took off my shoes and stored them away neatly at the bottom of my bed, so my roommate wouldn't think I was a sloppy pig, which I was, but I didn't want to make a bad first impression.

Then, I placed my suitcase down on my bed, and opened it to grab some clothes, so I could take a shower.

"Alright so where is the bathroom at." I looked around saw there was an extra door in the kitchen area.

"Well not my idea of putting the shower next to the kitchen but whatever." I walked over to the kitchen, my feet tapping against the tile floor, and turned the knob to the bathroom door.

Hot steam emerged from the bathroom. The mirror was fogged blurring the image of him.

"ITS YOU!" I dropped my clothes and pointed at the pale raven in front of me accusingly. He had a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair was dripping wet with water droplets. I couldn't help but to watch one as it slid down his perfectly sculpted body.

"It's not nice to stare dobe, but if you can't even knock, I guess it's hard to have any other manners." I felt my face grow hot, so I turned the other way and crossed my arms in hopes he wouldn't notice.

"Stupid teme."
