I was in the bedroom folding the sheets when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my stomach and a pair of lips kissing my neck.

Smiling, I turned to face my imposer, locking my arms around his neck. "Glad you could make it." I teased, gesturing to the clock on the wall. It was already way past curfew.

"Hux was being an ass." Kylo Ren sighed, falling back on the bed.

"You didn't kill him, right?"

"Not this time." he muttered, making me laugh. I sunk into the bed next to him, lifting his head to rest in my lap. He closed his eyes as I raked my fingers through his coal-black hair gently. I knew he loved it when I played with his hair.

"I have something to tell you," I whispered. "Something I think you'll like."

"What is it?"

"I took a test today," I told him. "A really important test."

"What kind of test?" he probed.

"A pregnancy test." I answered. His eyes snapped open and he jumped up, shock written all over his expression.

"What?!"

"I wanted to see if what I thought was true," I explained. "Ever since last week I've been getting sick unusually."

"Why haven't you told me?" Kylo frowned, hurt.

"I didn't want you to worry." I replied, kissing his lips sweetly.

"Well, what did it say?" he asked shakily.

"You're going to be a father, Kylo." I grinned. Kylo blinked, the news seeming to strike him deeply. "Aren't you happy?" my face fell. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe he wouldn't want this child.

"I'M GOING TO BE A FATHER!" he screamed, pulling me into a bone crushing hug. "Thank you," he breathed, peppering kisses all over my face. When he'd covered every inch of my face he moved down to my flat stomach, kissing that as well. "We're going to have a child," he whispered, awe-struck. "You've made me the happiest man alive Y/N."

Kylo grinned boyishly, holding my body close to him. "I don't want you to go anywhere without me from now on. And do not NOT speak to Hux. He's an ass and will only discourage you. Maybe I should get Phasma to watch over you-"

"Kylo, I'll be fine," I assured. "Many women have given birth before."

"I just want you to be safe," he said, pressing a lingering kiss to my lips. "I love you so much, Y/N."

Smiling, I snuggled into Kylo's chest, immense happiness filling my spirit. "I love you, too, Kylo."
