My whole body hummed with excitement as I waited at the airport for  Adam. Today was his last day filming Star Wars Episode Eight and he was  finally coming home. I grinned when I caught a mop of black hair heading towards me, that oh so distinct face that I've missed popping into view.

I opened my mouth to call out to him, but a sudden force stopped me.  Before I could focus on what was happening, I inhaled a whiff of  something sharp, and the whole world went black.

Everything around me was blurry when I awoke, and it took me a couple minutes to process the situation I was in.

I am not in my home.

A guy is staring at me.

There is a gag in my mouth.

Wait, go back. Sure enough, perched on a chair in front of me was a man.  A man in a.......Kylo Ren costume? What's going on here? "Hello," he said. His helmet, like my boyfriends costume, had an  electronic voice manipulator, making it impossible to recognize him.

"Who the hell are you?" I demanded, attempting to lunge at him. It was  of no use, however, seeing as my hands were tied behind my back.

"You really don't recognize me?" he chuckled darkly. Chills ran up my  spine. I watched as the man removed his helmet, and recognition suddenly  coarser through my mind.

"Jacen?" my eyes widened. Never in a million years had I expected to see  my ex boyfriend here. Well, fiancé, if you counted the year he  proposed. "Why am I here?"

"I want to know why you left, Megan," he said, slamming his helmet down on the table. How ironic.

"Jacen, I just didn't work out-"

"Is it because of him?" his eyes darkened, scanning me over. "Adam?"

"Yes," I confessed, hanging my head. "It is."

"Because he's rich?" Jacen scoffed. "Is that why?"

"No, it's not like that!" I defended. "I love him!"

"Just like you said you loved me," There was no anger on his voice this time. Just hurt, and betrayal.

"Jacen, I'm sorry...." I didn't really know what to say at this point.

"It's okay, Megan," he sighed in defeat. I was surprised at his sudden  understanding, seeing as how a minute ago he was practically seething. "I just want to know you're happy. Are you happy?"

"Very happy," I nodded. When he didn't say anything else I smiled in  amusement. "But what's with the getup?" My eyes raked over his Sith  ensemble.

"I'm a fan,"he shrugged, causing me to laugh.

"Hey, if you don't mind......" I raised my eyebrows, lifting my bound wrists for emphasis.

"Oh, right," Jacen said hastily, undoing my restraints. "I'm sorry, Megan, I really am." Before I could reply a crash echoed through the room, and I looked to see a man climbing through the first story window.

"Adam?!" I couldn't believe it. How the hell did he find me?

"Megan," Adam panted, pulling me to him instinctively. "You stay away  from her you bastard!" Before I could stop it Adam's fist made contact  with Jacen's face, sending him flying backwards.

"Adam, it's alright," I assured, cupping his face with my hands. "I'm okay. But how did you-"

"I pinged your phone," he replied casually. Oh, well, that's reassuring to know that my boyfriend knows every place I go.

Anyways, back to the situation at hand.

"Adam, it's alright, he didn't hurt me," I reassured.

"But he could've, Megan," Adam still looked worried, his arms wrapping tighter around my waist.

"He wouldn't," I disagreed. "Adam, this is Jacen. He was my boyfriend back in college."

"He was?" Adam's eyes widened as he took in Jacen's appearance. "Um, I'm  sorry I punched you. But I do have one question. Why are you dressed  like me? I mean, um, Kylo?"

"Seemed appropriate," Jacen chuckled, staggering to his feet. "So we cool?"

"Almost," I replied. Both Jacen and Adam looked at me funny. Smiling, I  slammed my fist into Jacen's cheek. "That's for kidnapping me."

"I deserved that." Jacen spluttered, wincing in pain. I laughed and burrowed into Adam's side.

"You're welcome to visit anytime, Jace," I told him. "Just don't come dressed like....that."

"You really mean it?" Jacen's eyes lit up with hope.

"Of course," I said, exchanging glances with Adam. He nodded slightly, letting me know it was okay.

Seeing the happiness in Jacen's eyes, I knew he didn't mean anything he  did today. And seeing the guilt in Adam's, I knew he felt the same way. All I cared about was that he was safe, was that they were safe.We do  for the people we love, even if it does involve punching them in the  face.
