A/N: A quaint little prologue, acting as a bit of foreshadowing and warning on what you'll get in this story. But of course, this story is tagged 'comedy' for a reason too. :)

Everything was perfect. Kids ran at the midnight streets, people talked to each other in the taverns, laughter and joy here, there, and everywhere. Paper lanterns lit up the sky, as everyone rejoiced and danced at the ongoing festival. Truly, that day was the most happiest time of the villagers there.

Until a magic circle appeared right below their town hall, followed by an explosion.

A gigantic shockwave destroyed the nearby houses around the building, with the fire let loose like a wild animal. In just a second, their haven was turned into hell.

"H-Help!"

"Agh! Somebody, help me!"

"My child! She's still trapped in there!"

Behind all the yells and screams of agony, a calm and serene breathing can be heard.

The moon shone down above, as the horned being slowly stood amidst all the destruction and chaos around him. Crackles of fire sounded behind this dark figure, from the main capital he had destroyed mere seconds ago. Now, it's nothing but just a huge piece of charcoal.

Once was a happy village now nothing but an image of blood and death. Cries filled the background, while the unpleasant smell of dried blood wafted throughout the whole place. Everything was either burning, crumbling, or just straight out erased. Though, the man did not care. He was the one who's responsible for it after all.

He looked at his pale, bloody hands. He felt the adrenaline, yet he's also bored. The peaceful plane of humans was too peaceful for his liking, and so he sought for action, in the form of destruction.

"No resistance whatsoever," says the demon. "no knights, no heroes, no anything. Or maybe there was some, I vaguely remember an armored human proclaiming he's sir something-something before I killed him. Hm."

He began to fly, positioning himself in the middle of the town. He pointed a finger downwards, as a huge, black and white magic circle appeared below him. It covered the whole village itself from it's sheer size.

"Such a disappointment." The white markings began to glow, while the black ones began to emanate a dark aura. Small energy particles began to form in the middle of the circle. "Perhaps it was wrong going to this realm after all?" He asked no one in particular.

Then, two gigantic rays of black and white emerged from the circle, with the pair of different colored beams intertwining each other. It resulted in a huge explosion, covering the village in a terrifying blast of darkness and light. In just a single second, the whole town was disintegrated into nonexistence. Right after the wide-area attack, the explosion began to shrink, then absorbed whatever that might have survived the cataclysmic spell.

The horned demon remained airborne, overlooking the crater right below him. A small frown crept up his lips, the very first emotion to ever show from the demon.

"... Pathetic humans." The demon's visage flickered, and then he was gone.
