Yes we act very cocky. But this applies to most other trumpets I know. We are also very kind. I rarely hear a trumpet player degrade another instrument genuinely. Other than simple kidding around. But I guess that goes for all insturments. But anyway...
Trumpet problems:
When the director plays trumpet and you're first chair.
When they give you 32nd notes 3 lines above the staff.
Having the most difficult marching parts, because you're brass so you're "strong" but your instrument is light, so here you go. (At least at my school)
Whaling above the staff while marching the finial part at 180 and being told you can't breath from the 8th to last measure to the end.
Being expected to never breath.
Everyone thinks you're a jerk and only care about yourself.
That's all I can think of, but yeah. This all may vary by country, state, city, school, planet, ect.
