The rest of the week, all of the special 10 worked extremely hard on their music pieces. Betsy locked herself in her room and practiced morning until night, with some days having her pulling all-nighters. The Big Beats stuck to their new plan, and practiced, but the whole time, something was wrong with Pete. Every time after practice, his band-mates would ask him what's wrong, but he would come up with the exact excuse every time: I'm just tired. That's what he said, though it wasn't the reason why he was feeling so down. It was heartbreak, crushes, love, it was his love life. It's so over-complicated for him, and everything he does just seems to tangle his heart up more and more. In his room one night, one single tear fell from his eyes, rolled down his cheek, and splashed onto his guitar.
