Pete fell asleep that night, clutching his journal of memories close to his chest. The next day, he didn't show up to band practice. His friend's were wondering where he went, until Iris finally went to his room. She sat by him. " What's wrong? " She asked. She pulled the journal from him. " What's this? " She opened it up, and read it all. Turns out that Iris and Pete were in a relationship up until the contest started. She noticed he had developed feelings for another girl: Betsy. However, Iris was only making Pete her Boyfriend just to make other girls jealous, and also because she had a huge crush on him ever since, well... forever!
