I rolled my eyes, stuffing the phone in my back pocket as my eyes wander around the street. I see some hotdog stand nearby (maybe they sell peanuts, we'll never know) so I went over. Luckily, my assumption was true. I bought two bags of them, keeping them by my side through locking them with my arm.

I went back to the area I sat around just under a tree, the shade cooling me enough from the hot temperature of Los Angeles.

Today's going to be the second day Lana and I are going to spend some time together. Just two days ago we did watch The Fault in Our Stars at her house, which was an hour drive from mine. We couldn't really meet up everyday, but weekends worked for us. And here it is, our weekend date at the zoo.
