Chapter 1

"Beginning of Another End"

I felt an intense amount of pressure leave my body. The next thing I heard are the waves crashing against the shore. The sand serves as my bed while the man that invited my soul leaned against a tree.

Ah. I must have entered another Nexus.

Kuya Hajime did nothing but gave me a small smile.

The place always has the same sun seemingly stuck across the horizon, fresh breeze, and big waves hugging the shore. Kuya Hajime wears his usual white polo and black pants while holding a little turtle. His body is well built, and he looks kind of scary, but his smile changes that perspective.

Black hair and white orbs fit perfectly on his face. I notice his face being a bit more well-toned than Kuya Owari's, the ending. Kuya Owari has a softer face despite being deemed 'scary' because he represents the end. The only 'scary' thing around him is his sharp teeth and black eyes.

"3 months?"  Tanong ko sa kanya saka hinawakan saglit ang pagong sa kamay niya. Maliit pa ito at tila papunta sana ng dagat ngunit naligaw ng direksyon kaya siguro ay pinulot siya ni Kuya Haji.

"It's been 6 months, kid. You've been having constant nightmares for that long time." His voice seems concerned but he's always like that.

"You got anything new?" Tanong niya sakin saka niya ibinaba ang pagong at hinayaan itong pumanig papuntang tubig.

"I got new visions," Sagot ko sa kanya. Tumango tango siya at naglakad kaya naman sumunod ako.

A Nexus is a connection between a deity or a god and a mere creature. It helps the balance of the realm by keeping the creatures on the right path. But gods and deities are always too proud, they select who they help. As much as I don't like deities, Nexus is never meant to be neglected so here I was.

On a beginning of another end.

"Talk." He simply said.

"A big golden room. Big windows, flags of different symbols, fancy-ass thrones, and a feast. Madaming tao but I looked in your direction. I was also surrounded by unfamiliar faces yet, I felt safe. " Sabi ko sakanya na nagpataas ng kaliwang kilay niya.

"Ako? Baka crush mo ko." Panunukso niya sakin at siniko pa ako kaya agad na lumayo ako sa kanya. Umakto siyang nasasaktan kaya agad kong inangat ang middle finger ko sa kanya.

"Stop being delusional." Sambit ko at tinawanan niya ako muli.

"Look, You just got a vision of the future, and you are telling me na you saw me in that one. Ako? I am a deity. I am the beginning. That's against the rules." Pagpapaliwanag niya sa akin kaya naman bumuntong hininga ako.

"I can't roam outside the realm without Fate's permission." He added.

"It's not just a simple event." Mahina kong bulong at sinipa sipa ang mga shells na naka kalat sa buhangin.

"Go on; I am listening. Your favorite deity is listening." Inilapit pa niya ang tenga sa akin para asarin ako. It works. It makes me want to punch him.

"Quit being f-cking annoying. Please." I said, trying my best not to curse a deity even more.

"Ok fine,Go on." sabi niya at sumenyas pa na huminga ako.

"You and Owari are together in that room. May iba pang creatures like witches and stuff. Present din sila Hendery pero hindi ko sila kasama. Too many creatures. " I belted out. Liningon ko siya at nakita kong nakakunot ang kanyang mga noo habang nakatingin sa buhangin.
