Chapter 18: Twelve Years Ago

Seulgi POV

My alarm went off as I blindly tried to find my phone to turn off my alarm. Once it stopped ringing, I got out of my bed and stretched. I then hear a new voice coming from downstairs.

"Eomma?" I said, then walking slowly outside of my room

"Eomma?" I said once more

I walked downstairs, my eyes widen in shock. "Eomma??"

I finally walked downstairs revealing Appa that left us 12 years ago. "What the hell are you doing here?!"

"Seulgi ah!" Eomma scolded me

He stood there standing in the living room. I spoke, "I said, why are you here??"

"I..." Appa said

"Is there a reason why you decided to come visit us after 12 years ago?" I said

"Seulgi..." Eomma said, warning me

"Oh wait... You didn't bother visiting after you left us. You never cared for us so why come back to visit? You already have another family who apparently, is the best thing that ever happened to you. So, if you don't have anything to say, why even be here?" I said, almost shouting

"Seulgi ah!! Let him speak!" Eomma scolded me

I scoffed, "What do you to say? You know what? Never mind, I don't care"

I then walked to my room and closed the door behind me and jumped and lying on my bed sheets and side, "Ughhh"

I then noticed something. I got up and looked at the box that Eomma must've placed in my closet. "What's this?"

I walked towards it and grabbed the box. I walked downstairs to Eomma and Appa. "What's this?"

Eomma looks at me and said, "It's your wedding dress"

My eyes widen, "Mwo??"

"Look, me and Eomma... We're thinking of an arrange marriage for you" Appa said

"Mwo?!" I said, "Eomma! No, I'm still in Highschool. I want to go to college and be successful. I don't want to end my life with a fucking marriage!!"

"It's for..." Eomma said

"For what?" I said

"For the company" Appa said

"What company?" I said

"My company. My company isn't striving very well, so I ask of you to be in an arrange marriage. For you marring the other company's son, the company will balance out and would strive" Appa said 

I sighed in frustration, "Why me? Why don't you ask your new kids?"

"I decided not to" Appa said, "We'll meet them tomorrow at dinner"

"Ughhh" I said

I went on my phone and saw to text message from Jimin ah. 

Chimchim: Let's FaceTime arasseo?

Seulbear: Wae? You want to see my beautiful face? （≧∇≦）

Chimchim: No

Seulbear: Fine

He then wanted to FaceTime which I accepted it.

Me: What did you need to talk about?

Jimin: I don't know... I'm just lonely 

Jimin: I wanna talk to someone

Me: Boi, I got chu fam

Jimin: Nah I don't want to talk to you about it

Me: Why not?

Me: Okay, fine I understand

Me: Anyways my life is ruined

Jimin: Why?

Me: Ugh, Appa came back after 12 years and said I'm going to be in a arranged marriage. And I'm meeting them tomorrow at dinner.

Jimin: That's messed up. Don't they want you to be in Highschool and attend college?

Me: I guess not. Attending college idea jumped out of the window

Me: Look, I'm stressed. I'm hanging up. Night

Jimin: Hang in there! Night :)

This is what I get for being the only freaking child.

Jimin POV

I can't believe it... She's in a arrange marriage... 

I'm too late.

Seulgi POV

The next day...

I then got dressed into a black lace dress about to my knees. I then went in the car with Appa and Eomma.

Appa then called the other CEO, "Sorry we're coming a bit late, my daughter was getting ready late. We'll be there in a few minutes"

A few minutes passed and we reached to the restaurant. It's a really nice restaurant, with simple colors around the wall. 

"Oh hello Seulgi ah" someone said

"Annyeonghaseyo" I said, bowing

"Oh, please meet Seulgi" The mom said

The guy turned around and my eyes widened. He smirked at me while I was still shocked.

"Jaebum ah...?"
