Josh POV

i was at the gym punching some bags. Alison and I got into another fight. she makes me so mad. talking bad about Claire. i kept punching the bag harder and harder.
" You should take a break" that  was Max's Dad he owned the gym, this is were we train. 
" Your right" i said giving it one more punch
" Always am!" he teases leaving the room i chuckled and started to take my gloves off. i checked my phone and saw Claire had texted. she has been on my case over this dance thing. I hate stupid school dances but i had to go because of her. i packed my things and left.
when i walked into the house i heard Alison talking to someone, i looked out the kitchen window. it was max i listened carefully.
" Listen Max" she said sitting up on the ledge he stood next to her 
" I know you dont go to my school, and i guess you dont consider us friend but" 
" get to the point " he said , and she smiled 
" its a girl ask boy valentine's day dance" she said looking down
" Are you asking me?" he touched her making her smile and nodded 
" Then i would be delighted " he said she smiled and jumped on him hugging 
i walked out and cleared my throat, this bothered me more than it should they both turned around and started at me, he gave her a look and said his goodbyes and left us standing there. as she was about to walk out i stopped her
" Stay away from Max"
" you dont control me" she said pulling away
" You are involved with me Alison. Robert find out you like Max, he will kill him" 
" think about it" i said walking back into the house. i needed to catch up to Max 
" hey max " he was sitting on the hood of his car. 
" hey" he said not looking at me
" waiting for alison?" i said he shook his head
" James" i nodded 
" So you and Alison huh? watch out man she isnt-" 
" She isnt what? because of course you know everything about her right josh? you spend time with her and get to know her? oh thats right you dont, you off by what your little girl friend said." his fist were clenched to his side and his face was pink. i put my hands up 
" Hey max i'm just looking out for you" he rolled his eyes. 
" Sure you are Josh, Your way up your ass that you cant see yourself being a dick to Alison" he hopped of his car and got in
" Tell James to find a ride" he started his car and sped off. i turn around to see Alison at the door. Her eyes shined in the moonlight like as if she was crying. i saw her walk back into the house.

" Oooo what about this one" Claire asked. we had been shopping for her dress, she was taking forever
" You would look great in all of them babe" i said smiling at her, she rolled her eyes and kept looking. i heard a familiar laugh and i turn to see Max and Alison laughing and picking out dresses. i rolled my eyes. why was this bother me. i shouldnt care about her and i should be happy for Max. i tried to pay attention to Claire but i couldnt.
" Focus" she yelled i snaped my head back to her. she smiled 
" Good now lets go try some one" she winked leading me back to the changing rooms

Alison POV
Everything has been going good for once. Max is a really great guy. Anne and Monse were coming over to get ready for the Dance with me. i got my Hair done, i just need my make up. 
" girl are you ready to party !" monse yelling running in the room i laughed 
" Lets do this !!" i yelled everyone started getting ready, we played one direction in the background dont judge. when we all finished you knew it was selfie time. my mom knocked on the door asking if we were ready because are dates where here. Monse and Anne walked down first i need to put on my favorite necklace it was the letter A my grandpa had gotten it for me. as i walked out the door Josh was walking up the steps. he stopped once he looked at me his eyes widen. 
" Wow" he said stepping closer i blushed. 
" I look that bad?" i asked laughing a bit he shook his head
" You look Great" this was the first time he has ever been nice to me since everything happened. i smiled 
" Thank you, you don't look bad yourself" i said fixing his tie. he smiled
" ALISON" my mom yelled from down stairs. he pushed my hands away. well guess its back to this. i walked pasted him and headed down stairs. Max looked pretty amazing he smiled and my mom Awhd. 
" Okay group picture" my mom said i groned we took a lot more than just one picture but they didnt seem to mind. 
" Okay we have to go now" i said pulling Max to the door. Josh hadnt left yet. as we said our goodbyes i saw Josh getting in his car and speeding off. Max shrugged and we were off to The dance. 
" You look great" Max said helping out of the car 
" Thanks, so do you" he chuckled and we went inside. people were actually having fun. surprise there since we were at school. 
As the night went on i was having the best time of my life and now it was time to name queen. i wasn't nominated but i didn't really care. i heard Josh and Claire are sure to win. i hadn't seen either of them. i did see Adam but i dont think he had a date. 
" Okay everybody listen up" One teacher said 
" we are hear to announce our King and Queen" she said opening the envelope 
" Okay our King is Josh Wood " everyone was cheering even I was. he went up there but he didnt look so happy
" And the Queen is Claire Patterson !" she happily went up there. as they went down to dance he seemed out of it, they were whispering back and forth until he yelled at her and ran out of the gym. He had found out who Claire really was.
