Chapter 14: Thump, thump, thump

The silence of the night and the full moon at its peak makes Harry’s sobs and cries echo around them, Louis was not breathing at all, until Harry hears a thump, a heartbeat, it was cliché to think that this was some kind of fairytale where the prince kisses the princess and the princess wakes up, but it wasn’t a fairy tale, it was real, it was a really a matter of life and death

With the sudden heartbeat Harry just kept his fingers crossed and hope that it will beat once again

And it did, he heard it loudly because of how silent the night was and he was thankful that they are human at this night because if they weren’t human, Harry wouldn’t know whether or not Louis was still alive or not, he was also thankful for the fact that Louis’ heart was beating

Louis suddenly coughed and coughed which made Harry cry in joy and hugged Louis tightly “Harry?” Louis asked his voice echoed through the walls of the room, Harry just smiled at him and nodded “yes, Louis it’s me, Harry ... the Harry who remembers everything, the one who loves you”

Hearing those words were music to Louis’ ears, he couldn’t be happier, he regretted his plan of killing himself once he knew he was dead he dreamt about the outcomes of everything that will happen around him if he did end up dead.

First

Liam and Eleanor were witches meaning they could’ve saved my life, so when they failed on doing so they turned themselves into ashes, they ended up dead. 

Second Zayn became depressed, he got sick and he never ate anything ever again, he also died.

Third Calum, Ashton, Luke and Michael were angels, they’re the only ones who can talk to Louis, but they were so sad, they couldn’t live without the real one that they can laugh with and share happy stories with, so they went out of Verdana and was never seen again.

Fourth Danielle and Perrie was just heart broken by everything that they refused to go back to school, so they left, and was never seen again.

Fifth the school was defenceless without the most powerful people –Zayn, Liam and Harry—protecting it, so the school was invaded by humans every single creature was found ... dead.

Lastly Harry, Harry was the worse of them all, he committed suicide right after he found Louis, he committed the same way Louis did, in hopes that he can be with Louis all over again, unfortunately when he died, he went to another place, full of loneliness, sadness ... Louis was never there, so he cried for all eternity.

Louis shivered from those thoughts and images that came from his dream, he never thought killing himself would end that way, maybe his dreams were exaggerating but he still believed it, it’s not only because he didn’t want it to happen that made him go back, it is because of Harry’s words that was echoing in his head

Saying his name over and over again, saying those memories that he finally remembered but he was too late, during those words, Louis saw images of Harry completely hanging from the ceiling while his own body was laid out on the floor, he will never want it to happen, so he goes back to where he came from.

So he lived. Harry was still crying from everything that have ever happened, he continuously said things like

“Louis I love you”

“Louis, I remembered”

“Louis I’m sorry“

“Louis don’t do it again please I’m begging you, don’t leave me”

With those words Louis just nodded, he couldn’t speak, because of the guilt of seeing Harry so heart broken; on the other hand, it was over, he’s depression and conscience never seem to exist anymore, he still has a conscience but it was not nagging like the last time, he got over it and he finally understood that Harry was right
