Speeding things up

Myer broke free just as they entered the building. The stood there panting bent over as if she was going to vomit. Zoom didn't come back for her. As she regained her breath he zoomed back out of the building. She took her time to waddle up to the cortex and by the time she got there Iris was already up there and there was an unfamiliar face. Barry walked over to her. 

" Are you ok, I saw zoom take you and-"

" Barry why didn't you tell me you didn't have your powers anymore?" Barry looked stunned. 

" Because I didn't want you to to stress because we thought they would come back."

" well now I am stressed because who is going to save central city if you don't have your speed. And don't look at me. I'm to far along to be doing that stuff it could harm both me and the baby." Barry looked upset, she knew she hurt him. 

" I'm sorry Barry, its not your fault you did what you thought was right." Barry had a small smile on his face. When the two felt like they were being watched. Myer turned to see, Henry Allen waiting for the right time to insert himself into their conversation. " Oh Hi." said Myer stepping out allowing him to enter.

" Son, who is you friend?" Looking at Myer up and down focusing mainly on the bump.

" um.... this is Myer, a friend from work." Henry Allen looked impressed.

" Oh right Barry, I no longer work at the precinct. I told Joe the other day, sorry totally forgot to tell you." she said smiling at the two.

" So what brings you to Star Labs." Asked Henry. Barry and Myer look at each other, trying to make one another say an answer. " Um... well.... I help around the place." she spat out very carefully.  Henry Pulled Barry to the side and Whispered something in his ear. Barry nodded. After that it got 5% less awkward between the group. they were awkwardly standing there waiting for something to happen when Wells rushes in with a plan on how to get Barry's powers back. Myer started getting headaches and dizziness. 

" Hey are you ok?"asked iris.

"Yeah I'm fine I mean like just a bit dizzy, but its fine. I need to be here for Barry."

"not if your going to fall over sideways and hurt yourself, go home and Barry can come and see you later." Myer looked defeated and slumped her head and Iris patted her on the back and they both shared a small giggle in doing so. She walked over to Barry who was pacing up and down the Cortex. " I'm going home Flash, Mom is forcing me to." and pointed to Iris who waved stupidly. Barry chuckled. 

" and you can visit tonight after this is all over if you want." she said smiling. they both exchanged hugs. Just as Myer reached the Elevator Mr Allen called out her name. " Hey is there something between you and Barry I should know about?"

" No, we are just friends from work." Henry nodded.

" How many weeks left?" he asked to stop the silence.

" 2 " she replied. He then nodded again and started walking away and giving her a slight wave of his hand as he went.

She could not believe how good it felt to sit down on her couch, drinking tea and watching the lights of central city in the rain. Finding the perfect Baby name was hard. each time she would say them out loud "Faith..........Jenny...........Lena..........Rose............Scarlet" as soon as she said that, all she could was laugh. it slowly faded out when the rain got harder. As she got up to take her mug back to the kitchen a massive bolt of lightning hit around where Star labs was. she stood staring until the sound of her smashing mug threw her out of it. 

She immediately ran out of the apartment and to star labs. She ran straight down to the breach room, eves dropping is a really bad idea she kept thinking. she stood panting for about 3 minutes before entering the building.

Then it only then hit her then what they could have been doing down there. it made her run faster. When she came to a stop in the breach room she saw Iris hugging Joe, Henry on the floor and Cisco and Wells looking at the apparatus in the middle of the room.

" Barry?" she said cautiously making everyone turn and look at her. Iris' eyes were red. The only one game enough to go and hug her was Cisco. He whispered in her ear, 

" I'm sorry he's gone."
