Chapter twenty-nine: Kings are back

Aubrey's POV:

I'm here again. I  lured around the mansion. The Garden, it's my favorite part of this house. I closed my eyes.

"Beng beng!" Sigaw ng batang babae habang nakahawak ng water gun at nakatutok sa kanyang nanay. Her mom acted like she's dead.

"Baby, why did you kill your mom?" Tumawa ang bata.

"Daddy, me and mom are just playing. Don't be stupid. Did you see blood on her chest?"

I opened my eyes. Parang bumalik sa dati.. parang bumalik yung saya sa puso ko habang iniisip at binabalikan yung mga panahong masaya pa kami..

I went inside. Everything is white. Mga natakpan na gamit. Tinanggal ko ito... it's been years since I get here... I kneel where my dad died...

"D-daddy l-loves you, baby. Always take care. B-be strong.."

"Princess, r-run. I-i love y-you" I slammed the floor when I remembered those memories.

"FUCK IT! WHY ME?! HUH?! BAKIT AKO?! BAKIT ANG PAMILYA KO PA?!" Para na akong baliw sa kasisigaw dito. Pero wala akong pake.. ngayon ko lang pinagbigyan ang sarili ko para tanungin sya.. bakit ako? Ang bata ko pa para kunin nya ang mga magulang ko! Bakit ang mga magulang ko pa? Kusang naglakad ang mga paa ko papunta sa kwarto ko..

It all ends.. Dito nagtatapos ang lahat. Ang mundo ko. Ang pagwasak nya ng buhay ko. Ang pagnakaw nya sa buhay ng mga magulang ko. Ang pag patay nya sa akin ng paulit-ulit sa araw-araw kong namuhay sa mundong ito. Araw araw akong nagdudusa, naghihirap. I don't deserve this. Ethan Anderson.

I drive all the way to the cliff. It's my haven. Bumaba ako at kinuha ang mga baril ko. I triggered the gun and banged it 100 times.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! FUCK THIS LIFEEEEEEE!" Hindi ko mapigilang umiyak sa nararamdman ko ngayon.

"Ouch." My forehead knotted when I heard a voice. Lalakeng boses? Hinanap ko agad kung asan ito.

"Ouch, sabi ng ulap." It's Kristoff. Inirapan ko sya at inilagay ang baril sa bulsa ko. Hinablot ko naman yung beer nyang hawak

"Why are you here?" I asked him. Pero di ko sya tinitignan. I don't want him to see me so anxious.

"I should be the one asking you that." He said seriously. Dun ko na sya tinignan

"What are you doing in my Clandestine?" Tanong nya. I shrugged.

"I just want to unwind." I can't believe I'm talking to him like this. Maayos, hindi pasigaw, mahinahon.

"At napili mo pa kung saan ang puntod ng mga magulang ko?" Napatingin agad ako sa puntod sa left side ko.

"I'm sorry." Sabi ko at uminom ulit

"Parehas lang tayo. I lost my parents too.." I noticed his cracking voice.

"Yeah. It's the way life shows how it hates us so much." I hissed sarcastically

"No... it's the way how life's destined for us." He bluntly stated.

"I don't really understand." Tanging nasabi ko nalang

"It's really destined for us... because of our choices.." Napatingin ako sakanya

"You think so? But before it happened, I never made a choice?" Sumbat ko sakanya

"Maybe, your parent's made it for you." He stated. I closed my eyes...

Why Mom? Why Dad? Why did you choose from that? Na ang kapalit ay ang mawala kayo?

"Gotta go." Pagpapaalam ko sakanya at umalis na.

"Hi, Ate!" Naomi greeted. I smiled. Scratch it, not a smile. A grin. A playful grin.

"Iba aura mo ngayon brey ah." Sabi ni Erin. I smirked at her. Wala silang kaide-ideya sa mga nangyayari. Red Reapers, laging nasa likod ko. Palihim na nagmamasid. At ang Kings? Wala. Ewan. Nagreready sa paghaharap namin? Pero hindi bilang Aubrey. Bilang Demon Queen]

"I miss my kuya Nate na." Maktol ni Naomi. Hindi ko sya pinapansin. Instead, nakikiramdam sa paligid ko.

"Why not we go to the Mall?" Zoey

"Mall nanaman Zoey. Pagod meeeeeh!" Steph

"Erin.. where's your dad?" Tanong ko kay Erin. Naalala ko lang si Daddy Eddy. I miss him. Really

"You miss him?" She teased me

"Of course not!" Tanggi ko. Ayokong may alam sila sa nararamdaman ko.

"Oh my gosh! They're back!"

"I missed them!"

"Bakit sila nawala?"

Napatingin ako sa pintuan ng Cafeteria. And I'm not wrong.. the King is just back.

"Hoy!" Napalingon ako kay Nathan

"Problema mo unggoy?" Asar kong tanong sakanya. Bigla naman syang nainis.

Be nice to him, Demonish!

I flashed a smile into him. "What?" I said smiling. Bigla naman syang lumapit saakin at kinapa-kapa bawat side ng mukha ko.

"May sakit ka?" Tanong nya saakin. Umiling ako

"I just.. I just realized that.. hmm.. Matagal na akong andito sa EKU and, matagal na tayong magkakilala. Pero, palagi kitang sinusungitan." Napayuko ako sa sinabi ko habang kinakagat ang labi ko. Fuck! Did i just say that?!

"So narealize mo na ang pogi ako talaga?"

"Yes. Really." Napatakip ako sa bunganga ko nung nasabi ko yon. What was that Demonish?! He

smiled at me devilishly. I rolled my eyes.

"Don't get me wrong, as your FRIEND. I find you... attractive." I smiled. Totoo yan. I really smiled at him. Nathan is so handsome as hell. Really.

"Can I invite you?" Nagulat ko sa tanong nya

"Saan?"

"A ball. Masquerade ball." Nahihiya nyang sabi

"Oh, sure! I'd love to!" I seductively said while looking at him.

"Great! So, meet you tomorrow at 8 pm. Kasa Alessana Suite." Sabi nya at naglakad na paalis.
