Aubrey's POV:

I wear a Red Velvet turtle-neck backless gown and a black-red mask. Nude lipstick and smokey eyes.

"Wow. You're beyond perfection, Aubrey." Erin

"Grabe Queen! And ganda mo.." Zoey

"Queen may ititnatago ka palang ganda ha!" Steph

"At may titnatago pang pagtingin. Tignan nyo sya, ang tagal na natin sa EKU ngayon lang nya napansin si Nathan na may gusto sakanya." Zoey. Lumukot naman ang noo ko sa narinig.

"May gusto si Nathan sakin?" Tanong ko sakanila

"ARE YOU BLIND QUEEN? HALATANG HALATA NAMAN EH! THE WAY HE TEASE YOU! THE WAY HE ANNOY YOU!" Mala-hysterical na sabi ni Zoey at Steph

"Hashtag. Manhid si Aubrey." Sabay sabay nilang sabing tatlo.

"Oh, shut up, you bitches!" I squawked at them.

*Beep beep beep beep!* Tatlo na sasakyan ang nasa harap ng bahay ko.

Red Reapers, Austin and Nathans car. Paano ko nalaman? Sa sigaw ba naman nung tatlo. Paanong hindi?

"Okay... Queen. Your prince is on the hall." Masayang sabi ni Zoey. Date nya si Knoxx. Si Erin kay Liam. Si Steph kay Austin? Nagtataka pa akong tumingin sakanila. What's happening in this world? Ako lang ba ang naglilihim?

*Ting!* It's the elevator...

I stopped dead on my tracks. There, I examined his tux. He's handsome in that Red Tux. Ang gwapo nya. He's stunning. His features were chiseled to perfection. Defined jawline, a nose that stands boastfully in the middle of his face, thick eyebrows that accentuate his startling dark gray eyes, lips that were pressed into a thin line but still managed to look luscious. His hair.. was one of his best assets, that much I am sure of. Nathan nearly trimmed it on both sides. But the top part was brushed-up towards the back. He looked badass, positively and negatively.

And then he looked up. Our eyes locked. And in that split moment, I felt a certain warmness in my heart.

What are you doing, Demonish? Are you checking him out?

"Wow." His stare was soft and cruel, gentle yet unwavering. An emotion crossed his unsettling dark gray eyes.

"I can't believe na ganyan ka pala ka ganda Aubrey. You're so gorgeous." I smiled at him

"Shall we?" I smiled and nodded. I have this weird feeling.. my heart is beating moderately. Yet, I feel so excited. Umayos ka Demonish. I heaved a sigh.

"Let's go!" I happily squealed.

He guided me all the way to his Lamborghini car. May pagka gentleman pala tong ungas na to. Pagkasarado nya ng pintuan. Inayos ko yung weapons ko sa legs ko. Hindi naman mapapansin eh. Kahit meron pang weapon detector sa Ball. Nilagpasan lang namin. Hell! I'm Aubrey Demonish Lewis! I invented all of these thin weapons. Deadly weapons.

"Welcome, Miss Stewart." Bati sakin ng mga tao. Hindi na ako magtataka, they know me in the business world. Maski nga sila Kristoff at Nathan nagtataka eh.

"Thank you." I just answered. Nakakangawit talaga tong ganto. That's why I hate parties!

"Oh, Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen! Now, we gathered all here in this Masquerade Ball. Because of thanksgiving to our very well-known Mister Ethan Anderson." Napatingin agad ako sa stage. I examined his facial features, body. I clenched my fist and gritted my jaw. Fuck you, Anderson.

"Let's give an applause for Mister Anderson." Sabi nung Emcee. Hindi ko alam kung anong meron sa ball na to. Pero, I'm glad I'm fucking part of it. It's starting. Pero warm-up palang to.

"Good evening, people. I know you're wondering why I invited all of you here to this Masquerade Ball. I invited you here because I want you to witness another special day in my family's life." I look at Nathan. Nakakunot ang noo nya. HE doesn't know anything?

"Hindi ko na ito papatagalin.. please meet my Wife. My long-lost wife, Alessana Anderson." Biglang bumitaw si Nathan sa pagkakahawak nya sakin. I look at him, walking away. Biglang kumilos ang mga paa ko paalis. Tinignan ko yung gold watch ko. 10:30 Pm. I hurriedly text Zoey, Steph, and Erin to go home and wait for me in the house... This Suite will blow up. We set some traps.

"All set, Aubrey." Sabi ni Liam sa phone call. I have to follow Nathan. He looks devastated when he walked away.

"Okay. Be sure, wala sila Zoey, Steph, Erin dyan." I commanded.

"Wala na sila Brey." I hung up the call

Hinanap ko yung pinadala ni Miss Cass na car ko. I immediately hopped in and followed Nathan's car. Tumingin ako sa paligid. Papunta sa UG to ah. I heard loud creaks. In a millisecond, I saw him scourging and screaming in pain. The glows in his eyes were gone. All I see now is his arousing pain...

"Hey." Tawag ko sakanya

"What are you doing here." Hindi patanong. May nakita akong saya at lungkot sa mga mata nya

"I followed you," I stated at nilabas yung case ng beer sa trunks.

"Tss. Date moko tapos iiwanan moko don? Hindi ako makakapayag." Pabirong sabi ko sakanya. Napatingin naman sya saakin at ngumiti. His smiles.. aaaaaahhhh!

"So, concerned kana din pala saakin ngayon." Maikling sabi nya at nagiwas ng tingin

"Why should I? How were Ethan Anderson and Alesana Anderson were related to you?" I frankly asked. He massaged his temples.

"Unfortunately, they are my parents." May bahid ng galit bawat salitang lumalabas sa bunganga nya

"Aren't you happy?" Tanong ko sakanya

"No." Mabilis na sagot nya. Why Nathan?

"Why?" Tanong ko

"Let's say.. we don't need them anymore. We can manage our lives. Me and Naomi." My forehead wrinkled when he said those lines.

"So, kaya nyo ng mamuhay ng wala sila?" Tanong ko sakanya

"I can." Maikling sagot nya at ininom ng dirediretso yung beer nya

"Aren't you thrilled? Complete na kayo." May bitterness sa boses ko

"No. I don't need those complete things. I need a family. Yung totong masasabing pamilya. Unfortunately, hindi sila yun. Tsaka nakakapagtaka.. bakit pa siya bumalik? 17 years of my life, I never met my mom." My gaze brushed on his face

"Maybe she has a reason." Sabi ko at biglang tumunog yung phone ko.

"Oh my god. Nate may nagpasabog sa suite." Kunwaring naghi-hysterical ako.

"What?!" Bigla nyang sabi at sumakay sa sasakyan nya.

"Hop in!" Mabilis akong lumapit at sumakay. A smirk came out.
