August's POV

I woke up and it was about two in the afternoon. I got up and went to check up on Kiera she was knocked out but Candace said if they sleep for a long time they won't go to sleep at night so I had to wake her up.

She started crying when I woke her up so I picked her up and changed her diaper. Thank God she didn't poop.

After that I went to Jayla's room and saw she was still sleep too. So I went over to her bed and softly shook her.

"Jayla it's time to wake up".

Her eyes slowly opened. I could tell she was sleepy. So I picked her up and walked downstairs to the kitchen. I put Kiera in her high chair and Jayla in her chair.

I gave Jayla fruit snacks and Kiera applesauce.

"Daddy can we play tea party".

"Yeah we can play".

"Can we use fruit snacks at the tea party and apple juice"?

"Sure we can".

After we played tea party Jayla and I cooked dinner then we watched a movie.

"Hello".

"Mommy"!

Jayla got off the couch and ran out the living room. I picked up Kiera and went to the front door.

"Hey baby". She kissed me and then took Kiera.

"How was work"?

"Busy. How was the day with the girl"?

"It was cool".

"Great I'm hungry do you guys wanna go out for dinner".

"No mommy me and daddy cooked".

"What"?

She nodded and grabbed Candace's hand.

"Oh my goodness you too made steaks and vegetables".

"Yeah that's one thing I'm good at".

She smiled. "I like it lets eat then".

She put Kiera in her high chair.

"I made the girls chicken nuggets cause I know steak will be too rough for them".

"Oh wow baby you are amazing".

I put Jayla in her chair and sat down. We grabbed hands and prayed over the food.

Then we started eating.

"August this is amazing".

"I'm glad you like it baby".

"Oh I forgot to tell you tomorrow your mom will be here to take care of the girls she was really happy to see them today".

"Oh cool".

"And Derrick will be here tomorrow so you two can hang out".

"Alright cool".

"Jayla how was your day with daddy".

"It was fun we played tea party".

"Really"? She looked at me and smiled.

"Yes and it was fun". I said smiling back at her.

"And then we watched a movie".

"So you had a great day".

"Yes I did and grandma got me toys".

"Did you tell her thank you".

She shook her head and put a chicken nugget in her mouth.

"Well I'm glad you three had a great day".

"I wanna have a great night too". I winked at her.

"Oh no thank you August". She laughed.
