Christmas Eve

August's POV

I'm happy to have this life I never want to give this up at all.

"August today both our parents will be here and staying until New Years". Candace said coming in the room with Kiera.

I groaned. "Baby this is going to be horrible".

"Well if we just keep my mom and your mom away from each other than it will be fine".

"Yeah like that's going to happen".

She handed me Kiera and walked to the dresser. "Look your parents are near Kiera and Jayla's room my parents are downstairs it's gonna be fine".

I bounced Kiera on my knee.

"Oh yeah just wait until dinner tonight or Christmas breakfast or opening the gifts or Christmas dinner".

"Baby your so negative". She laughed. "Just think of the good things like we are all here for Christmas".

"Yeah and some one will end up dead. Your mom".

She hit me. "Positive thoughts August".

"Sorry dear".

"Mommy mommy mommy". Jayla ran into the room.

"Yes yes yes sweetie"?

"The door bell is ringing".

"I bet it's your family". I said standing up.

"Mhm probably".

Candace picked up Jayla and we walked downstairs.

I opened the door and I was right.

"Hey Kiera". Candace's mom said taking my child and coming in.

"Hello to you to". I said rolling my eyes.

I went outside and helped Candace's dad with the bags.

"Thanks August that lady doesn't like carrying anything".

I laughed and showed him there room.

"Cjay coming".

"No she's going to her husbands house even though she said she wanted to see the fight".

I laughed. "Hopefully there isn't one".

We walked in the living room and Candace was laying down on the couch.

"Candace sit up". Her mom said

Great her crazy ass is already starting.

"Mom I can do what I want I'm grown".

"Not today sit up child".

She rolled her eyes and sat up and I sat next to her.

"Oh yeah positive stuff". I whispered and she nudged me.

"Dinner will be served as soon as Augusts parents are here".

I saw her mom roll her eyes. I swear she acts like a kids.

The doorbell rung.

"Nana and Papa"!! Jayla jumped up and ran to the door.

I got up after her and went to open the door.

"Hey mom dad".

I let them in.

"Hey son. Is the devil here yet". My mom said

I nodded

"Papa".

My dad put the bags down and hugged Jayla.

"Finally we can eat now". I heard Candace's mom say.

"I swear she will leave in a body bag".

I shook my head. And my dad whispered something in her ear.

This is will some Christmas.
