So, did you know this story is partially inspired by a true story of my life? It's still ongoing, with me and this guy, he keeps sending me all the signs but won't make a move. It's kind of frustrating... Anyways, he's just like, too old for me? Maybe? Anyways, some weird twists in this chapter! I hope you can keep up! - Emma

"Aimee, we're going to be late for school!"

I shrugged into the covers, "What does it matter? Everyone is going to stare at me!"

"At least Jeff can come back, so, don't even worry about it! You're both fine!"

"But now I look like some freaking grade slut," I sat up on Matt's bed and opened my eyes. Matt was in front of me, staring at my face, like I was an idiot or something. I ran my fingers through my freshly bleached blonde hair. I didn't tell anyone I did it. I just went with it. What better way to disguise yourself at your own school than changing your hair color? I can't say how many times it's been useful when you're avoiding a certain person...

Matt glanced down at my body before his eyes refocused on my face, "Nice hair."

"Thanks. So, I have to go to school?"

"It would be more suspicious if you skipped, trust me," he chuckled, "Jeff and I were talking about it last night when you were out."

"Oh. I guess I should get ready," I said as I slipped out of his bed. I went to my duffle bag and changed into a coral pink sundress. I guess that's good enough for school. I sighed as I shoved on some white heels.

"So," I heard Matt's voice outside the door, "We're going to fake this again."

"Fake what?"

"That we're dating. It'll keep both of you safe. If people think we're really together, Jeff won't get shit about it."

"Fine," I said as I slung my bag over my shoulder and ripped the door open, "Let's go."

As I walked down the hallway with my hand in Matt's, I heard people whispering. It wasn't exactly quiet either. Some people were pointing, laughing, even winking at me. I sighed and shook my head. So everyone did know? That just made me feel a hundred and ten times better!

Thought of as the girl who took advantage of her teacher. The girl who seduced her freaking teacher, just another grade slut, looking for an A in the course. I sighed as I ran my fingers through my blonde hair. My plan to hide didn't work out as well as I thought it would have.

 >>Ignore them. You look beautiful today, by the way.

I jumped a little and nervously looked around. I couldn't see Jeff though. He wasn't even in my vision.

>>I love you.

I zeroed in on his voice. I spotted him a few seconds later, leaned against his doorframe, talking to some guy. He looked about the same age as Jeff, but I'd never seen him around here before.

>>Stop staring, cutie. I'll introduce you later.

I sighed and redirected my attention towards Matt. He was staring at me.

He took my head in his hands and leant into my ear. He whispered one word.

"Sorry."

Then his lips crashed onto mine. The whole time, I felt so conflicted. I felt warm water running down my cheeks. I couldn't help it. I loved Jeff. It hurt to kiss someone else and try to feel the same connection. I couldn't cheat on Jeff for a third time, even if I had to do it. It was wrong. It was really wrong. The ring I had on my ring finger felt heavy and chunky.
