Chapter 41: The Favour (EDITED)
Willow
So much has happened at HQ since I made my presence known. An urgent call was made and that's when I met her...I met Ziva but she went by the name of Jade and knowing it hurt Xira it hurt me too knowing that her daughter didn't know her mother. As the events continued Xira got herself caught in the process and the others wanted to leave her behind but she's like my second mother I couldn't leave her behind so I and Jade set ourselves on our own mission to bring her back which we succeeded in before we headed back to HQ. I think my presence just made everything worse for each and everyone. Was that my purpose in this damn world, bring destruction to every turn I make? If that is the case just kill me now. As we went to get Xira and I think me and Jade bonded, I felt like I made another true friend on my journey and she wasn't as bad as thought she was going to be. I didn't know if she felt the same way back towards me but it didn't matter to me. We were back at HQ at the moment where everything was calm so I decided to speak to Xira about the second matter I intended on speaking to her about. I walk down the corridor and sense that somebody is following me. I act casual as if I don't know that anyone is following me. When i cut the corner I stay behind the wall silently and wait for them to come round and follow me. Once they have I grab hold of their shirt and push them to the ground. "Willow stop it's only me!!" That's when I realised I was holding Hayden to the ground. "Seriously Hayden! I could have hurt you!" I let go of him so he could get up off the floor, "Well I'm very glad that you didn't."
"What do you want Hayden?" I asked him straight up, "Look Willow, I don't know what you're playing at but whatever it is please just stop okay, it's over Jayden won okay," I gave him a look of disgust "So your giving up just like that, wow way to go Hayden, thought you were tougher than that," I began walking away from him but he grabbed my hand. "I'm not giving up." I rolled my eyes at him and laughed "Then why would you say that he has won, that's giving up Hayden and you know it," I thrust his hand off my wrist. "Okay so yea, maybe I did give up a little but maybe it's for the best," I looked away from him and mumbled "It's not for the best," I heard him sigh heavily behind me "Maybe it's not but that doesn't change the fact that I have been with you the whole way and that's not gonna change so whatever you're up to just let me help you," he told me., I lowered my head and looked at him "I'm sorry, I can't, not this time Hayden, you'll understand...in due time," I looked away and carried on making my way down to meet Xira and get this all sorted. When I left I could hear Hayden talking to someone, probably Kai or Taylor but I honestly couldn't make out who it was. I got to Xira's room and knocked politely on the door. I heard her answer for me to enter which I did and she was sat on her bed looking at a picture of her daughter; I went sat to next and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Hey you okay?" I asked her, she just nodded and answered "I'm good Willow, what is it that you need?" My eyes widened "What makes you think that I'm here for something?" She laughed at my remark "Willow, from the years I have known you I know when you need something and when have you ever not wanted something," I sat and thought about that and replied "Fair point, so can I ask?" I asked her, she sighed and replied "Well there's gonna be no stopping you anyway, so go ahead," I took a deep breath and told her what I wanted. This time her eyes widened. "Willow do you realise the risk you're taking by doing that?" I sighed and nodded. "I know the risks Xira but am I capable of doing it?" She shook her head "Willow, your still young and it takes years to accomplish something like that and it can weaken you terribly," I was getting a little irritated but I didn't let it show and carried on "But Xira, am I able to do it?" she looked me dead in the eye and answered "Yes Willow, you can do it, I can teach you to do it, just promise me you won't ever need to use it unless it's for the right thing," I nodded and she returned it back and that's the moment she started to teach me what to do.
It took hour after hour until I was finally able to accomplish what I wanted to accomplish. I thanked Xira until Jade came barging through the door "Jade what are you doing here?" Xira exclaimed "Fury wants us on the island of Berk," Xira immediately looked towards me "I'll go get my things," I sighed and grabbed my belongings "What's with her?" Jade questioned to her mother "That's her home," she opened her mouth into an 'oh' shape before we all set flight to Berk. As we were about to take off I noticed Hayden and the others there; Jade was ready pull out her weapon and attack before I stopped her "Have you guys been here this whole time?" I looked them eye to eye "We weren't going anywhere until you were so yes we have been here this whole time," Hayden spoke; I groaned and we all took off into sky as I filled Jade in the details about each one of my friends in turn. As we were flying I felt like something was off. I kept looking around me checking the area "Um...Xira..." I started and she nodded "I know Willow, something doesn't feel right," we all looked around and then suddenly out of nowhere boulders came flying our direction and our dragons were losing control and flying around all over the place. "WILLOW WATCH OUT!!" someone shouted my name, but it was too late. I felt my weight be separated from Crystal as I toppled away from her. The next thing is my pain slams against a hard wooden surface and I could swear I heard a bone crack. I got up immediately with no hesitation.
I stood around to be face to face with Jayden. "Long time no see," he stated "I could agree," he raised his sword and aimed it towards me; my reflexes pushed my own sword up against him blocking his aim. As he would strike I would block each blow and the same vice versa. "Willow!" I heard my friends call out my name from above as they tried making their way towards the ship. With each step I took I noticed he was luring me towards the edge. I tried with everything to push myself away from where I was heading. He thrust his swords down against my own as I blocked while I back was leant against the side of the ship "If they want you so badly, let them get you," he threatened in my face as his breath was against my own. With one last push his weight toppled me over into the water without a second glance. My body crashed against the water and my weight was carried to the bottom of the water. I wasn't a great swimmer so every time I tried swimming to the top I would be dragged back down. The more and more air I was losing as the deeper I sank. I was struggling with everything that I had but it was no use, everything began to wither away before my eyes and the last thing I saw was this black dot coming towards me.
