Chapter 47: The Truth (EDITED)
Willow
There I stood, frozen on my spot with my sword still aimed but now at a lower level than before – probably by my bewilderment. He made his appearance out from the shadows in which he laid himself in. He was in a slight muscular build but nothing compared to others I have seen; his eyes wore the scene of death and sorrow which circulated within each chestnut colour surrounding the pupil; his hair colour matched the colour of his eyes as he had it sleek down. He stayed calm in his position as he scanned me from head to toe as I did the same to him. Jayden stood clutching his shoulder as he made his way over to stand next to the man. Their resemblance to each other needed no question to examine that they were father and son. "Please Willow, there is no need for that right now, I'm not here to fight," he said calmly to me "Then what are you here for?" I asked wondering "I figured we could talk," he spoke so formally to me. I lowered my sword fully replacing it back into my belt next to my other sword while nodding. "You've been through a lot, I know because of what my son has told me, it takes courage to him on you know, most people have failed," he speaks placing a hand on his shoulder ignoring the blood which he bled. My eyes wandered over to Jayden answering Viggo "Well I'm not most people," before my eyes landed back onto Viggo himself. "You're correct Willow, you aren't most people, which is why I like you," I couldn't help but release a laugh.
"Excuse me?" I questioned his statement trying to contain my laughter "You're different Willow, you seem to be able to do things that no one else can do, you don't ever give up, you got spirit, I like that," he listed each thing in turn "I can't give up on the people that I love, who would I be if did that?" Jayden smirked at my response crossing his arms in the process "Well I guess some people don't understand what that means," I glared at him deeply; Viggo paid no attention so carried on "Of course, you're doing this for your brother which is of course understandable, but Willow answer me this, what would you do when this all over?" That's when it hit me; I'd never thought about it, so I couldn't answer him "All I ever wanted to do when I heard the truth was to save my brother; I wanted to fix a problem that my parents couldn't; and once it was over I would go home, live a normal life with my family," I knew that was the truth because when I thought deep down that was something I wished for a very long time. "Even if I said you couldn't because you're different from other people?" his statement sounded more like a question in my ears.
My head lifted to look at him directly; I shook my head "There's nothing different about me," I began to walk away from him "You know there is Willow, you won't accept it. This war will never be over for you and you know it so just admit it to yourself. You've felt the signs and people have noticed them...you are different, and different makes you dangerous," I stopped and looked round back at him "And how would you know everything about me when I don't myself?" he laughed at my remark "Willow I know everything, but Willow deep down you know that I am right, and you can feel it but are afraid to let it out, what is holding you back?" I lifted my head to look at Jayden "I could have killed you that day, that was the first time I had ever used them and felt such...power...that wasn't me, physically yes, mentally no. Whatever is inside me controls me and I'm scared of what it can do, that's why I have never let it out."
"You don't know what's happening to you, do you?" Viggo stepped closer towards me "But let me tell you Willow, whatever it is, makes you dangerous and dangerous is something I don't want to play with," so instead I stepped closer to him "Well if you know what is wrong with me, then do me the trouble and just tell me what it is," he stepped back away from me "Where would be the fun in that? This is a game Willow-," I cut him off "Which you started in the first place!" he nodded "True that may be, but the game isn't over until the final chess piece if gone and I'd rather that happen once she's figured out the truth herself." And with that he disappeared into the shadows with his son trailing his lead. I ran my fingers through my hair. Another mission at hand, but this time to do with myself. I'm different that's all I know and I need to know how different – different makes me dangerous. So let's find out how dangerous I am that he wants his final chess piece to be gone.

Nathan
I just finished meeting up with Lucy and started to make my way back up to the house to once again see Cori leaning against the door eavesdropping on a conversation, once again. Strangely enough she wasn't the only one eavesdropping on the conversation, so was Kai, Taylor and Hayden. What were they up to? "You know guys if you wanted to eaves drop in on a conversation you should have just asked me to do it, since my hearing has been amplified over the past few years," I said making them all jump. "Nathan!" They all screamed at me. "What?" I asked. "Were trying to listen to what their talking about," Kai stated the obvious. "Exactly why I said let me listen," I repeated myself. They all shared glances and made space for me to join and listen. At first the sounds were muffled until they started to get clearer and clearer to me so they no longer sounded like a mumble or whisper like it did to the others. "I understand what you mean, but you need to understand, Willow has always been a troubled girl," I heard my dad say, but who was he talking to. "She's like her father, let's put it that way, can't help herself yet put herself in danger." My mother added on. I pressed my ear up against the wall to listen harder. "How did she even get mixed up in all of this?" Someone I didn't recognise ask my parents, "When she was around ten years old, we told her about what happened when our kids were born," dad answered the questions. What happened when we were born, what did he mean? "What did happen when they were born?" Another voice asked; both of the voices seemed to be male. "Ever since what happened with Viggo, the woman he was seeing, let's say got angry at us and tried to curse our children, so we found a witch and she protected our children, however little did we know, the spell was only strong enough for two, meaning-"
Dad got cut off by one of the voices "Her brother, Nathan, wasn't it, he got cursed?" Then there was silence. I slowly pushed myself away from the wall of the house and Cori was looking at me "Nathan..." Then the others also got up. "Did you know?" I asked her my voice shaking; then I looked at all of them "Did you all know?!" My voice started to rise. All of their heads lowered and I already knew my answer. "Nathan listen..." Cori started but I cut her off "No stop, just stop, stay away from me, just stay the hell away from me," and immediately I took off without saying another word "Nathan wait!!"
