7 months into the pregnancy

"Why is your stomach so big." Tyler asks me putting his hands on my stomach.

"Cause mommys growing a baby in here." I laughs a little. My stomach hadn't actually gotten that big.

"How does that work?" Tyler's eyes grow big and he looks up at me.

I just laugh and pick him up sitting him beside of me.

"You know Auntie Kacy is coming over in a few weeks." I smile.

"Is Kya and Haley coming!" Tyler asks happily. Kya and Haley were Kacys twins. She both had the frizzy hair like their father who's parents moved here from Africa.

"Yep." I smile as I see his excitement.

"Do they know about the secret yet?" Tyler looks around and whispers.

"I've told Kacy but Kya and Haley might not understand quite yet." I tell him.

"Okay then." Tyler huffs. "Can we go out and get icecream please?"

"Fine" I kiss his forehead. "Do you want to go to daycare today?" I didn't know who was working with him but he'd been coming home knowing something new everyday. Soon he'd be in real school and he'd have to know these things. But he was a smart kid. He could do it.

"Yeah but I don't want to go for long." I nod and set him on the ground. "Daddy's gonna be home in a minute so we have to hurry okay?"

"Okay." Tyler says grinning. I put on a light jacket over my black t-shirt maternity shirt and jeans.

We walk out of our apartment and onto the street.

"Hold my hand, Tyler." I tell him. There was a Ben and Jerry's just down the street from where. Tyler clasps onto my hand and starts skipping. "Slow down you'll run into someone."

Tyler huffs but slows a little.

"Is daddy coming with us?" Tyler asks.

"No he won't be here in time we've just gotta get the ice cream and get you to day care okay?" I ask him.

"Okay." He shrugs.

"What flavor do you want?" I ask as we walk in. The lines weren't super bad but Tyler didn't like to standb in them.

"Superman!" He squeals.

"Okay go wash your hands." I say and point to the bathroom.

•••

"Are you almost done, Tyler?" I ask. I still wasn't finished either as I look up at him, he was just biting into his cone.

"No mommy." Tyler says.

"Do you think you can walk and eat outside as we go to daycare?" I ask. Tyler nods as we step outside.

"Is my sissy in there?" Tyler asks abruptly and points to my stomach.

"Yeah." I laugh. I remember the first time I felt her kick. It was beautiful.

"Zach something's wrong!" I scream from the shower. I had just stepped out and slid into my long navy bathrobe.

"Holly unlock the door!" Almost immediately there was a hard knock at the door.

My hand was still clasped to my stomach when I turned the little piece of gold to unlock the door.

"What's wrong?" Zach was in the floor in front of me as I sat on the closed toilet seat.

"I don't know what's happening." I gasp. Zach puts his hand on mine and moves it off my stomach. He moves his other hand to the same part of my stomach.

Almost immediately the worry vanished from his eyes and he kissed my hand, then my stomach.

"Holly, that's our baby kicking." My tears didn't stop but came out as I laughed. Zach stood up and hugged me. "It's okay. She's fine."

"Well will I get to meet her soon?" Tyler asks pushing my thoughts away.

"I don't know maybe." We near the day care center and I look down at Tyler. "Okay you ready?"

Tyler nods and I walk him in. I sign him in at the front. I waved at the older lady that must be watching them today and bend down and kiss Tyler on the head.

"Okay behave and don't give anyone a hard time the crayons are to share and not to go up your nose. I love you go have fun." I say and he runs off.

I sigh and lean against the wall for a minute. Could you already believe e was this old?
