Chapter 10: Red Fox (Joel Hixon)
Reports streamed in. Atlanta was gone. I sat at the head of the table. Everyone was shouting. There were more than ideas flying through the room.
Then I said, "We're leaving."
Everyone stared at me.
"We re-group in Florida. We can't hold Georgia and Alabama is gone."
I stood up and left the room. There was a TV cast outside.
All I said was, "I recommend evacuating Georgia. We have room in Florida."
I got in my armored truck and watched my republic slip away.
