Monroe's POV

Two Days Later

It was Sunday and my only day off. The guys came over my house to hang out with Orion after frequent asking on his part, they caved. They are all playing video games while I'm making snacks for everyone in the kitchen as the front door unlocks and opens and footsteps are heard.

"Mon! Rion!" Someone yelled. I hear Orion pause the game, get up and run towards the front door as a guy walks past the kitchen doorway. I wipe my hands off and walk towards the doorway.

"Shawn!" Orion screams and jumps into Shawn's arms. Oh crap, I forgot he was coming back today! Luckily I already had everything ready transportation wise 2 weeks ago.

"Hey bud! How's it going?" Shawn asks while carrying Orion. They were somewhat close because Shawn has been the only consistent male figure in Orion's whole life.

"You're back! How was London?" Orion yelled even though they were face to face Shawn laughed and ruffled his hair. Orion grabbed his hand of his head.

"It was good your mom had me working hard. Where is your mom at?" He looks down the hallway in the opposite direction from where I'm standing and then where he's standing in the living room spotting all 5 guys looking at him.

"Shawn?" I peeked around the corner and seen him standing there. I entered the room as Shawn put Orion down and greeted me. He walked up to me and smiled.

"Hey Mon! How you doing short stuff?" We hugged a tight hug and as we pulled away we kissed each other's cheek. Adam didn't seem to like that at all for obvious reasons and Jesse didn't like it because he was protective over me.

"So, I totally forgot you were coming home today." I giggled and covered my mouth with both hands. I might as well tell him the truth. I've never lied to him before.

"Oh gee, thanks! I feel the love!" He laughed and poked me in the stomach which made me giggle more. Orion rolled his eyes and cleared his throat which caught my attention. He nodded to the band mates and raised his eyebrows at me.

"Oh, Shawn this is Mickey, James, Adam, Jesse and Matt. Guys this is Shawn." I introduced pointing to each guy smiling as they waved to Shawn. Shawn looked between them and me a few times before staying on me.

"Wait, how'd you get Maroon 5 to come over your house? And Adam as in-" I stopped what Shawn was about to say by covering his mouth with my hand. I scowled at him and darted my eyes to Orion then back to him hoping he would get the hint. Shawn sighed under my hand and I took my hand off.

"I've known Jesse, Adam and Mickey since I was like 10 and I met Matt and James like 2 weeks ago." I shrugged and crossed my arms over my chest. He looked like he wanted to know more but I simple shook my head at him.

"Oh cool cool. Hey Rion, I got you what you wanted." Orion stood there bouncing as Shawn knelt down and unzipped his backpack. He pulled out 3 books and held them out to Orion. Orion took them and looked at all 3 of them before jumping and yelling 'Yes!'. He took off upstairs to put them in his room as Shawn and I laughed at him.

James spoke up after he and all the guys looked lost. "What just happened? I've never seen a kid get excited like that over books." He looked at the other guys and they all agreed with him. Shawn answered him before I could.

"Rion loves books, he collects them really. He collects them from every country that he can. Mon, here, sends me to all kinds of places and I always get him the same types of books. A book about the country, a classic fairy tales book and translation book." He shrugged as the guys just stared at him looking even more confused. Time to explain before their brains fry.
