The Unexpected

Monroe's POV

Five Days Later, Friday

"How you guys know I go to that Starbucks daily is beyond me but here are your drinks." I said once I fully walked into the studio with Tori at my side. All the guys looked up at me and smiled. "I'm running late now so thanks. Oh yeah, my assistant Tori." I said pointing to her. "Tori, the guys, Jesse, James, Matt, Mickey and the man most likely behind the plan and extra 15 minutes stuck in Starbucks, Adam." I pointed to all the guys as Adam walked up to me smirking.

"Thanks, beautiful." He hugged me and kissed my cheek. I blushed as he nodded at Tori. "Here, my treat." He stuck $40 in my front pocket and took his drink from the carrier. The guys all came up and got their drinks giving me a hug and kiss on the cheek and saying hi to Tori.

"Roe, are you going to invite them to the party tonight?" Tori mumbled to me while darting her eyes back and forth between me and the guys. They didn't seem to hear her because no one asked questions.

"Oh shit, I forgot." I said kind of loud. I looked at the guys who were now looking at me with their straws in their mouth. "Guys, I'm having a party tonight as like a welcome back to my 3 photographers who just came back from months long assignments. It's a last minute thing but it'll be at my place and starts at 9. You guys are invited and I really want you guys to come." I smiled shyly at them and messed with my bracelets.

"Yeah, okay, we'll be there." Jesse looked at the guys as they agreed with him. They nodded their heads and then went back to what they were doing. "Sorry were putting a song together and it's finally flowing."

"See that was easy." Tori whispered in my ear. I looked at her and playfully rolled my eyes. "What? It's true." She giggled. "Now come on, we have an appointment with the DJ and bartender back to back missy." She pulled me towards the door. I waved to the guys and yelled bye. Adam got off of the couch and walked up to me.

"Bye MJ. Text me later, okay?" He said softly as he hugged me and kissed my cheek. "I'll be waiting." He winked at me as I nodded blushing and went back to the couch as I walked out of the studio. I linked arms with Tori as she giggled again. I knew she was about to make fun of me for something.

"Blast from the Past, is way hot compared to the pictures I seen of him when you guys were together, Roe." She nudged me with a huge grin on her face. "It looks like he's still very much in love with you, too." She winked at me.

"Blast from the Past? Really? That's what you're going to name him? Yeah he does look better now than before but he's still the same Adam he's always been." I smiled at her and blushed. "And you know that I still love him, I never stopped. I'm not just going to jump back into a relationship with him though, we need to learn about each other again. It's been 8 years and I have other priorities now." I shrugged as both got in her car. I'm so glad I don't have to drive today.

"Yes that's my name for him and don't use Rion as an excuse because I know for a fact he loves being around BP. Career wise it's perfect, you both are busy all the time so every moment is cherished. Oh god! I just went soft!" She giggled and drove onto the busy street.

"Yes, you just went soft!" I giggled and reached for the radio. "Really you shortened it now to BP? And we'll see where everything goes with him, it's good as of right now. We actually have a date on Sunday night." I turned up the music loud as she turned towards me shocked. I smirked at her and looked out my window so I couldn't see if she was saying anything.

Later That Night

Adam's POV

Me and the guys arrived at the party about half an hour ago and the party was in full swing. I've talked to MJ once and that was for only for a few minutes before more guest arrived. Her friend Tori kept looking at me as if she knew something I didn't.
