*** I'm very sorry I took so long to update. I'll try to keep it up. Enjoy!***
- Lucca. – I called his name from the door. He snored loudly so approached the side of the bed and shook him gently.
- Hmm. – He growled sleepily.
- Wake up.
- What? – He asked, eyes closed still.
- Wake up, I made breakfast.
- Ari? What the-What am I doing here? – He asked as he looked around my room, totally confused.
- You came here last night wasted, scared the sh*t out of me, then I helped you walk to me bed room and- I was explaining in an annoyed tone when he cut me off.
- Oh... yeah... I remember.
- Well, get up already. – I finally said after a while of silence and walked out of the room.
He eventually came out of the bed room and into the kitchen, buttoning up his wrinkled white dress shirt. Honestly, he looked like sh*t. Lucca sat across from me and we both started eating. I'd left a pill for his headache and some water with a few drops of antacid for his stomach.
- What is this? It tastes f*cking bitter. – He asked with a scrunched up face after drinking some water.
- It's antacid, I forgot to tell you. Always good for hangovers.
- Always so thoughtful... - He mumbled more to himself, but I still caught it.
- Hey... I'm ugh... I'm sorry about the other night. You were right... I shouldn't have left so late, alone with Rach... - I admitted timidly after a few minutes of us eating in silence.
- Nah... it wasn't that big of a deal. I mean, I shouldn't have gotten so mad over that... I overreacted.
- Yes, but you were just looking out for me... Are we even?
- Let's call it a truce. – He concluded with a wink.
We ate in peaceful silence mostly; he then went to the bathroom and to dress up properly while I cleaned the dishes.
- Thanks for letting me stay here, for breakfast... I'm really sorry for everything. I... I'll see you around, Ari. – He told me. He finished by hugging me and kissing me in the forehead.
I didn't say anything, just hugged him too and watch as he walked to my door.
- Lucca, wait... I... I don't... - I called after him as he opened my door.
He now stood there looking at me, waiting for me to talk. What the f*ck did I stop him for?! Now we were just standing there, me trying to figure out what to say next.
- What's up? – He asked confused.
- I-I was just... like, the other day I was just thinking... I mean... I've kind of been second guessing what we talked... I don't know how to... I've been having some doubts whether if our breakup was for the... best. – I kind of spoke in a whisper.
- You are saying you want to get back together? – He spoke loudly, closing the door and approaching me.
- I-don't... know. I mean... it was just a thought. I'm not saying anything. – I've never felt more embarrassed in my life, I'm telling you.
- But you thought our breakup wasn't for the best. Are you saying you want to get back together? – He spoke as he walked closer.
- I'm not saying anything! I don't know what I want... are you laughing at me? – I was first talking and looking at the wall for concentration, when I heard a snort coming from him. He was holding back his laughter. This d*ck!
