- Baby, can I hold you tonight? Maybe if I told you the right words...

- At the right time? – Lucca came into the kitchen through the back door and finished my line.

- I'm going to kill you! We are going to be so late! – I scolded him as I took the cookies from the oven. That's the only thing I can cook, honestly.

- I'm sorry, I'll be ready in five. – He hugged me from behind, pecked my neck and was up the stairs in no time.

These last months have been great. Lucca and I have been getting along greatly, better and better every day. Sometimes we argue over his schedule and him arriving so late at night, but those are some minor things. I know he can't help it, but it just gets to me from time to time. Tonight is Helia's birthday, she is having a small family gathering tonight since it's Wednesday and on Friday she's throwing a pool party.

I finished packing the cookies Nico seems to love so much and went into the room to change into some boots.

- Luke! We're already late, hurry up. – I yelled at the bathroom door and heard the shower turning off as I took some dirty clothes downstairs.

Since Lucca wasn't done yet, I went into the laundry room to put the clothes to wash and change the wet clothes into the dryer.

- You don't have to do that. I have people come clean every day. – He said from the door, buttoning the sleeves of his button up shirt.

- Are you finally done? – I asked, standing up.

- Do I hear bitterness in that question? – He joked.

- Noo, impossible! – I answered sarcastically and he smacked me on my buttcheeck on our way to the door.

- Wait! Let's go through the back, I have to go to the office to drop something off. – He headed to the building at the back of his house, where all his employees and bodyguards and cars where at.

- We are in a hurry! – I called after him.

- Then walk faster. – He grabbed my hand and started walking with long strides.

- Rude! I can't with these boots.

- You leave me no other choice then. – He stated and turned around. He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder!

We got to the back building in the middle of a fist fight and giggles. Then he went upstairs somewhere as I got into the car with Aaron. Once with Lucca in the car and Clement with some other two guys in the other cars, we were off to Helia's birthday.

The house was fully lit up by the time we arrived, everyone was already here.

- About time you showed up! What took you so long? - Karen exclaimed once she saw us, catching the attention of a few family members close by, much to my embarassement. It was the first time in all these months I was officially introduced as "the girlfriend".

- Ask your son. – I answered shortly and glared playfully at Lucca.

- Sorry mom, I got stuck at work. – He answered as he hugged her small body.
