Chapter 13
Calena's POV

Today's the day we open Mamma Mia and me being Sophie and this have Swedish origins, I was asked to speak to the crowd. That was a challenge however because I know little to no Swedish and the crowd knows probably no Swedish.
"Ready Calena?" I hear my drama teacher ask.
"As I'll ever be." I take a few deep breaths before following my drama teacher out onto the stage.
"Tack för att ni kom att se Mamma Mia. Showen börjar snart." I take a breath and repeat in English. "Thank you for coming to see Mamma Mia. The show starts soon." I smile and exit the stage.
"Break a leg everyone." I say hooking my head mic up properly.
"Thank you. You'll rock this. Anyone in the crowd?"
"My parents and siblings."
"No Alex or Will?"
"I didn't ask them. I didn't think they'd want to watch." I shrug. My cast mates shake their heads and without anything further we are sent on stage.
After curtain call I go in search of my family.
"Mom!" I scream finally finding my family.
"My baby! Oh my gosh, you were fantastic. I'm so proud of you."
"Aw, thank you." I kiss her cheek.
"So, I noticed two boys and their family sitting down from us."
"Who?" I ask confused and I feel two large arms wrap around my waist. I scream in surprise and turn around.
"What are you doing here? I thought you guys were busy!" I give Alex a kiss before smacking his shoulder playfully and then going to kiss Will.
"You think we would miss this? We had to hear about this from your mom!"
"No, of course not! I just thought you guys would get bored."
"Well, you're wrong baby doll. Very very wrong," I see Michael, Camilla and the girls standing off to the side.
"Thank you for coming!" I exclaim giving them a hug.
"You were amazing darling." Camilla says giving me a hug.
"Thank you. I take that it was alright?"
"Great, and I'm not a musical kind of guy." Michael compliments.
"Thank you, that means a lot coming."
"Why don't you and your family come for dinner?" I look at my parents.
"We don't want to put you guys on the spot." My mom says.
"nonsense, you'll be family one day! We insist!" Camilla says and we agree.

Back at the boys house Jason seems to have taken a liking to Jackie and the other girls snagged Keziah away as well as Katie and Jared.
"Would you like some help?" I ask politely. Michael smiles at me.
"If you would like. I would not say no to help." He smiles.
"What would you like me to do?"
"Chop some cheese and veggies. I have the other openers in the oven."
"You knew about my family coming didn't you?" I ask keeping my voice low. Michael simply winks and gets back to prepping food.
After a while I feel someones arms wrap around my waist. I lean back into them with a content sigh. I notice Alex's long fingers against my waist and giggle.
"Bored of my siblings yet?" I ask popping a grape into his mouth.
"Never," he says after a moment of chewing. "They're great!"
"Well, I think Jason and Jackie are soulmates. Get ready for that," Alex's expression turns into a scowl.
"He better not hurt her."
"He wont i'll kill him." I pop a grape into my mouth.
"Good," I lean back to kiss his cheek. "Want another?" He nods opening his mouth and I pop a grape into his mouth. Alex catches my fingers between his lips and I giggle pulling them away from him.
"Dude! Nasty, I eat with those." I exclaim causing Michael who I forgot was there to burst into laughter.
"You better listen to her son." He chuckles placing food onto the island.
"Alex, can we talk?" My dad asks walking into the kitchen. I give my dad a look and he nods.
"You'll be alright baby." I kiss his cheek and he goes to follow my dad out.
"Alex looks petrified." I comment.
"He's afraid of your dad. All boys are afraid of fathers. I was petrified of Camilla's when we first met."
"He wont hurt him." I shrug.
"Alex doesn't know that though!"
"I guess you're right."
Alex's POV
As I follow Calena's father out of the kitchen I can't help the feeling of nervousness building in my stomach. I was petrified of him if I'm being honest. Yes, he doesn't seem harmful but I am his daughter's soulmate and will be around for a while so I hope he isn't too harsh. I mean I would be if it were my daughter's soulmate.
"Have a seat." He says gesturing to the empty seat outside on the porch. "So son, I get you're nervous." He gestures to my facial expression no doubt. "I just want to have this talk to see what you're really about. I talked to your brother already but I just wanted to get a feel for you and what you're about. So tell me, how did you first meet Calena and what did you think?" I think back to the first time I met her and a smile finds its way to my face.
"So, Calena was singing the anthem at one of my games and I noticed this beautiful young girl and I knew something was there. My wrist burned and I just couldn't concentrate. When I finally saw her it was like nothing I've ever felt before. It felt electric, amazing and I was love struck from the moment I met her. I'm in love with your daughter sir." I admit to him. He smiles at me and most of the nervousness that I'm feeling washes away.
"I'm glad you are son. Because the look she was giving you in the kitchen shows she is in love with you as well. I have never seen her look at someone the way she looks at you and your brother. As long as you do not break her heart and love her unconditionally you have my blessing. Welcome to the family."
"Thank you sir." We go back inside to see Calena dancing in the living room to some pop song with my sisters and hers.
"Okay, so you go like this." She puts her hands on her hips and does a little shimmy. My younger sisters follow suit with Calena's. "Exactly!!" She giggles and I lean against the wall to watch them.
"She's gonna be a good mother someday. Just wait," I hear Will say in my ear.
"Yeah, I hope we have a big family." I smile.
"We will trust me. I just hope she's okay with it." Will chuckles.
"She probably will be. I mean even if we each just give her three each that's enough right?"
"We should probably run that by her first." We're knocked out of our trance by a loud thump and a louder giggle. We look and see Calena on the floor in a fit of giggles and all of the siblings standing around her. I shake my head and chuckle, my girl I swear she's one of a kind.
