Millie's P.O.V.
After getting that text from Finn to head to the park and talk I immediately left my house. I wandered out into the park for a while until I decided to sit on a bench to rest.
"Sorry I'm late, I had to make up an excuse to leave the house." Finn said from behind me. I jumped a bit because it was really quite and no one was really at the park. I turned around and smiled.
"Hi Finn. What'd you wanna talk about?" I asked him. He sat down next to me and stared at my hands.
"I broke up with Sadie." He whispered.
"You did?! Why?!" I exclaimed.
"I didn't love her anymore. There's... someone else."
"Who is this girl?"
"Well, she's drop dead gorgeous. Smart, kind, and funny. Always there for me. Someone who I've had a crush on for a long time."
"..." There was slinece for a brief moment.
I looked at him and whispered, "Finn?"
"Yeah?"
"Is it me?"
"..."
"..."
"Yes." I sat there in complete shock. I mean, they were signs but...
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have admitted my feelings so soon. I'll go now if-" Finn began before I grabbed his forearm before he could leave. He stared at it and we stared at each other for a few seconds. I kissed him on the cheek at first. I didn't know what to do at that moment. Then he pulled me in for a real kiss.
